Is it just me or, Is this how all PED issues should be looked at... Why did they come down on Barry, but not Manny?
Kinda strange.. Both accused of cheating, but one is drug thru the mud, the other rides off on the Good Ship EPO...
If memory serves, Bonds mentioned using the "clear' on a couple of occassions. Plus his name was tied to the Balco thing.
Manny is tied to Pidro, General Santos' neighborhood A-Side Meth provider, he ratted Manny out and somehow Roger got wind of it.
The situation with PAC is different. He is not being accused by the media or boxingcommissions l. Just by the mayweathers(but we all know if Floyd refused a test all he'll would brake loose).
I think you wanted to say hell. Well, what are the Floyd fans doing?
One thing that is important to remember is that they were negotiating. So they just didn't agree.
Another thing to remember is that Manny has agreed to testing BUT the haters make it sound like he didn't agree to being tested. Again, it's the negotiations that fell apart the first time. The 2nd time, Floyd didn't want to fight.
Please show the world where bonds admitted, PLEASE.
The Bonds I know pled the 5th to every question except his name.
Well, since you said please...
Bonds testified that substances didn't work
Barry Bonds testified to a grand jury that he used a clear substance and a cream given to him by a trainer who was indicted in a steroid-distribution ring, but said he didn't know they were steroids, the San Francisco Chronicle reported Friday.
Bonds told a U.S. grand jury that he used undetectable steroids known as "the cream" and "the clear," which he received from personal trainer Greg Anderson during the 2003 season. According to Bonds, the trainer told him the substances were the nutritional supplement flaxseed oil and a pain-relieving balm for the player's arthritis.
According to government attorneys, BALCO founder Victor Conte has identified the designer steroid THG as "the clear." A testosterone-based ointment was identified as "the cream." Olympic sprinter Tim Montgomery testified that Conte used flaxseed oil containers to send "the clear" to athletes.
According to a transcript of Bonds' Dec. 4, 2003, testimony reviewed by the Chronicle, prosecutors confronted the slugger with documents allegedly detailing the steroids he used -- "the cream," "the clear," human growth hormone, Depo-Testosterone, insulin and a drug for female infertility that can be used to mask steroid use.

But let me guess, you don't trust the media so it's all a conspiracy to bring Barry down, right?
It won't happen trust me, as long as Boxing is seen as an corrupt, barbaric sport the regular apple pie America could care less if boxers are cheating. They probably think so what they aren't anything but animals anyway. It's a shame because regardless if pac is using or not there has already been enough evidence that boxers are using to demand stiffer testing. There were guys way before pac's name got thrown in who tested positive so there should've been tougher penalties and testing implemented already. What is the point of these commissions and boxing organizations if they don't do anything to progress the sport?
I hope you're wrong.
My belief is that boxing is waiting for PAC to leave, and I think then they will start demanding tougher testing.

I don't understand.
Are you saying that it is possible that there is a grand conspiracy in protecting Pacquiao from all accusations against him of taking PEDs, mainly because it will affect the sports of boxing? If so, then you must also be implying then that all the people who are involved in this "conspiracy" this must be fans of Pacquiao.
Man, don't you think that you are bringing this a bit too far? You seem to be saying that almost everyone in the boxing world agree that Pacquiao is the face of boxing, and they need to protect Pacquiao because he represents Boxing. If he goes down, then everyone else goes down too.
Don't you think that that is a bit off? Saving their a$$e$ by shielding Pacquiao of all accusations about PEDs? What about their freedom to do what is right and fair? What about their capacity to write and act based on honest opinions? What about the truth?
I'm saying this, because I don't believe people are gullible to be hooked into such a thing as a grand conspiracy to protect the sports of boxing at the expense of honesty, truth and justice.
If the comission wanted to they could just throw a test, do they have to really show that they passed, NO.
I'll tell you how baseball got caught.
In 2003, the MLBPA and MLB agreed to a test that the public would never know about, they just wanted to see the % of players on steroids.
Players were supposed to take the test and the test were supposed to get burned in flames. Somebody thought otherwise and kept all the test results and that's how baseball was put on the spot.
So you see, if a commission wants to protect it's investment they can.
Why isn't it possible, baseball did it. The Mitchell report and Canseco made baseball look so bad, that the ratings went down.
Now they have tougher testing, not the boxing testing where they just ask the fighter if he's drugs.
Can you imaging if boxing's ratings went any lower? MMA would love that.
I don't understand.

Because Americans care more about Baseball than they do about boxing. Most Americans look at boxing as a dirty, barbaric sport anyway, so they don't care. If Americans cared more about Boxing like they do Baseball, Football and Basketball, then we would see way tougher drug testing for boxers.
My belief is that boxing is waiting for PAC to leave, and I think then they will start demanding tougher testing.
I see, and Canseco snitched on him
what's up with your Raiders, why did they fire Tom?
Bold: I don't know, but i didn't like the move, but I have no choice but to roll with it.
The players don't like it though.
On topic: I don't like this topic to be honest...I don't know. I just think some cats try to hard.
On A Side Note: A doctor from Canada was busted bringing a trunk load of HGH and steriods into the states...That doctor had a list of athletes he perscibed HGH to. Guess who's name was on the list, Tiger Woods. Tiger amitted using it when asked about it (he had a knee injury). The other golfers tried to cry about it, but Tiger has never tested positve for PEDS. The issue calmed very quickly, propaly do to the crazy year Tiger already had.
The point is, can we assume Tiger is still on HGH? Or do to his performance as of late, is his mind f*cked, or can we assume that now that his doctor got caught, his performance is suffering?

Im not saying he said he used during the season. Bonds was injured, and stated the reason his name was ever on the Balco list was for rehab reasons. And stated that he rubbed the "clear" onto his knee.
That is the point though, they can't prove that he used doing the season. I never said he admitted using during the season. He was on the list for a reason though. So he clearly got something from Balcon, right?
I see, and Canseco snitched on him

We're not just talking about Philippine Media here. American Media has much to say against Pacquiao if he was really into PEDs, but nothing came out of it. Why? because there are no sources (stories of insiders/people involved in the Pacquiao's training) that can trace to Pacquiao's using PEDs, mainly because there is indeed no truth in it. Unlike that of Bonds.
Secondly, do you honestly think that people in the boxing world, businessmen as you say, would continue supporting Pacquiao if he is indeed using PEDs? I'm sure like Bonds, boxing businessmen and sponsors will certainly leave Pacquiao on his own even at the first sign that Pacquiao is actually using PEDs.
Thirdly, you seem to be saying that everyone in the boxing world, writers, fans and businessmen are all obviously protecting Pacquiao so that boxing won't go down to the pits, which is very confusing because you are implying that there is a kind of a grand conspiracy in all these merely to protect Pacquiao and their boxing investment.

Probably because the consequence of exposing manny now would yield far worse outcome to everyone around him and to those who benefits off his accomplishments.
Do you honestly think the philippine media would be un-biased on this issue? they kiss his ass in there constantly 24/7
Do you honestly think those filipinos would want it to come out? those people have nothing to do besides oggle and follow manny's footsteps online and IRL
Do you honestly think big sponsor companies would want manny to get exposed as a dirty cheat? think about potential lost revenues if they reveal manny. It wouldnt be wise since he is now on a winning streak and has a plate full of washed up fighters to pick from. They have to ride it out, milk him dry before they expose him.
Do you honestly think those boxing businessmen want a huge embarassment of this great magnitude? with UFC ever increasing, now isnt really the time to turn people off boxing. would you be surprised if texas had really "clean" results for pacquiao? think about that

If memory serves, Bonds mentioned using the "clear' on a couple of occassions. Plus his name was tied to the Balco thing.

I didn't know that Bonds admitted to steroid use. That is news to me. Also they don't have any evidence on Barry that can convict him, thus the reason they need his friend to testify against him. I think their going after him on tax evasion now.
If memory serves, Bonds mentioned using the "clear' on a couple of occassions. Plus his name was tied to the Balco thing.
BTW the TS is straight @ss and post the same b.s. day in and day out.
When it comes up that Manny is tied to some drug company or some inside info leaks....then we can think about comparing his situation to Barry Bonds.
Not to mention, they also went after Mcguire, Clemons, Pettet, and Solsa...Bonds was not the only one.
Because bonds was black. While dudes like Mark M. And A rod gets swept aside. Being black and arrogant don't mix with white media. Same sh1t we see happening with Floyd. If you a good little house ninja it's ok(well not ok but the scrutiny wouldn't be as bad). See Shane Mosley.
Just like the mike Vick sh1t. Ben can rape little college girls and it's ok. Vick kills some dam dogs and they want to lench him(matter of fact some dude said Vick should be put the death recently).
The situation with PAC is different. He is not being accused by the media or boxingcommissions l. Just by the mayweathers(but we all know if Floyd refused a test all he'll would brake loose).
