never too late, all these wars have got to catch up to JMM eventually, they will probably be as shot as each other soon, but dont expect either to retire defiently see these fight hapenning within the next 2-3 years both have the same height, reach has to happen, thier first fight with was my favourite fight out of all the JMM/MORALES/BARRERA/PAC FIGHTS

too late for rematch of this fight Barrera was robbed badly though, he deserved one

I really don't remember the fight entirely,but I believe I remember Barrera dropping him & not getting the extra point & basically remember thinking that he won too.But they gave it to Marquez then Barrera's relationship with golden boy went sour.

i think the important thing is with Barrera is too get an early lead, cos if you fall behind on the scorecards he'll just counterpunch you to death i saw Khan-Barerra, inconclussive, not as fast as he used to be but still think Barrera has a little in the tank, wouldnt begrudge him one last payday (s) they could do a seniors tour

i had Barrera winning by a point dont really care who wins as Larry Merchant says 'Lets do it again' I dont think either fighter is finished, i expect Morales Marquez to be great I agree. I had Marquez winning by a little bit, but that really was one of those fights where the decision was academic (and the judges were retarded). The skill level that they fought at was just insane.

Normally, I'd agree with this. Those guys are my 1 and 1a fighters. But Barrera is more shot than Sonny Corleone at this point. Marquez would annihilate him.

a rematch would have the same results as the first one..... it may even be more decisive win for marquez the second time around. Id actually agree with that, great fight tho and these guys would always gel and make a great fight

Its kinda a forgotten classic, dosnt get mentioned much, its always JMM vs Pac or Diaz and Barrera vs Morales!
