If Marquez ever fought this bum, that would just put his legacy in question. That is like the ultimate short cut to a fourth title. Lol. JMM is better than that.
Marquez's technical ability allows him to handle speed. Judah now is not as good as the Pacquiao v1.5 that Marquez fought in their second match. Marquez actually slowed Pac down. (I believe Pac beat Marquez in a close decision by the way...) So against a fighter like Judah I actually would bet on Lil Warquez. Judah crumbles once his style is deciphered by great counter punchers.
In a Khan vs. Marquez match up I got Khan. Khan's style and physical attributes would be too much. I was surprised in the Maidana bout that Khan has not shown the ability to adjust. Marquez could find the massive holes in Khan's defense and offense. But the only problem is Marquez won't be able to hurt Khan. If he boxed him fully like he did pre-Pacquiao 1 he could make it a close fight....
There is a reason for weight division, you know. Ever wonder why champions of 135 doesn't just jump to face champions of 140? As the saying goes size does matter but in all everything there are exceptions to the rules.
I think it would be a damn good fight. better than JMM vs baby bull 3 lmao...I think zab has a shot JMM gets dropped here and there maybe zab could hold onto a points lead.. but JMM wont hurt zab IMO
Anything past 140 for Marquez will not be a great look. as past it as Judah may be I think size & speed will give Judah d victory over the smaller fighter.
interesting fight.
that weight is a little iffy for JMM, but i think he can take it.
he has yet to prove he can move up succesfully to 140, so we'll have to see.
but i think he'll take it, JMM is more skilled than judah.
Do you think Marquez can handle the speed of Judah?
I think he'd adjust to it just fine.
Judah only fights in spurts anyway, so it's not like he'd be pressuring Marquez or pushing him beyond his limits.
Marquez schools him.
Judah might drop him with an uppercut early, but Zab almost always folds if he can't get you out of there within 6.
Marquez's jab would be in Judah's face all night long.
Actually, he weighed in at 142. The fight was at 144 but he weighed in at 142. He still lost a one-sided fight.
That's right.
But I never make the mistake of comparing Judah to Mayweather.
Floyd is on another level.
And Floyd weighed like 146 at the weigh-in right?
Marquez may be unproven at 140, but it's not exactly like Judah is highly accomplished there, either. For the past several years he's been fighting much lesser talented guys than Marquez.
