6. Manny Pacquiao: Boxer, Philippines
7. Vitali Klitschko: Boxer, Ukraine
8. Wladimir Klitschko: Boxer, Ukraine
9. Jorge Lorenzo: 2010 MotoGP champion, Spain
10. Javier Gomez: Triathlete, Spain
11. Camille Lacourt: Swimmer, France
12. Andreas Thorkildsen: Javelin thrower, Norway
13. Graeme McDowell: Golfer, Ireland
14. A.P.McCoy: Horse racing jockey, Ireland
The list of course will be trimmed down to 6-8 nominees who will be invited at the awarding ceremony to be held in Abu Dhabi where they will announce the winner..

I doubt Pac beats Nadal and Bryant..Its a toss up between those two..
It doesnt even have to be Pac. If one of the Klits gets into the top 6, and wins, its still good for boxing..

How does one get nominated?
There is a two-part voting process to find the winners of the Laureus World Sports Awards. Firstly, a Selection Panel of the world’s leading sports editors, writers and broadcasters votes to create a shortlist of six nominations in various categories including Laureus World Sportsman of the Year, Laureus World Sportswoman of the Year, Laureus World Team of the Year, Laureus World Breakthrough of the Year and Laureus World Comeback of the Year. Then the members of the Laureus World Sports Academy vote by secret ballot to select the Award winners.
