I could give Manny credit for not taking 2 weeks only if....
1. He told Floyd from the start "No, I'm not doing any extra test"
But as we all know, Team Pac accepted OST at the start.
2. If he would have stuck to one reason/excuse for not wanting to do it.
Pick any of the 100 reasons/excuses and run with it.
We all know what happend, some of us think asking for both men to undergo extra testing is wrong, some of us think it's a good show of sportsmanship.
Some of us look at everything, some of us choose to ignore certain things.
Some people think FLoyd Srs accusation started all this mess, while some feel Mannys refusal caused the shyt storm to blow up.
I heard a guy say on his youtube chan, "I've never seen a fighter do what Manny is doing" (For the record, neither have I).
But that comment got me to thinking, I've never seen Manny do what Manny is doing for that matter.
Rather than ask "Is Manny on some type of PED", why are we not asking "Could Manny be on some type of PED"
I know, asking falls in line with accusing. But now it's out there, the question has been askied.
If asking for additional testing falls in line with accusing, then refusing testing kinda falls in line with admitting (sorta).
Why did Manny skip 14 days and go rite to 7?
And why ask for 7 when the offer stands at 0?
Why not just take the 14 when it was offered?
Why attempt to alter a random test?
All these questions have no legit answers, just assumptions and emmotional rants.
But the big question in all of this is, why do people still ask Floyd "Why won't you fight Manny"
Knowing all that we know, it's pretty simple to see why he won't fight him..
And if we know Floyds side, should'nt we focus on the other guys reasons/excuses now.
Floyd won't fight Manny because Floyd want's USADA Full Random drug tests upto the fight, 0 cut offs.. We know this.
Manny wants??????????????????????????? (Insert your answer) and there's your reason the fight was'nt/has'nt/wont be made....

I know, asking falls in line with accusing. But now it's out there, the question has been asked. If asking that Floyd ducked falls in line with accusing, then refusing to fight and taking a vacation kinda falls in line with admitting (sorta).
- Why did Floyd stay silent when we all know that is not in his nature? (See videos for proof)
- Why say he doesn't want to fight this year?
- Why take ANOTHER long vacation?
- Why did Floyd not come back to the tables IF Manny went down to at least 7 days if not more. Most would agree that WITHOUT ANY NEGOTIATIONS, Manny put out a serious offer. What's up with Floyd for not negotiating?
Floyd wants ???????????????????????????
(Insert your answer) and there's your reason the fight was'nt/has'nt/wont be made....
This has been a problem of Floyd's for a while now. Most don't believe it's because he is a coward but it's put that way in the media. A better response would be that he is very cautious about his "0". This kind of talk has been going for much longer than Manny's PED's accusation that was started by Floyd's team last year.
Floyd's accusation was made and started by many including, writers, commentators, TV analysts, boxing experts and boxing fans in general .
i think you need to b.c yall are the ones who dont. floyd compromised. pac didnt. pacroid even got what he asked for and still walked.
silly pactards
your god floyd flip-flopped dude. Go back to reality.
0 days to 14 days AND BACK TO 0 DAYS?
what kind of negotiating is that?
unless of course you ALSO don't understand what flip flopping means.
how many times yall wana go over this same song and dance. neither is pac and what did he request. 8oz gloves with is 10 for WW. 10 mil per lb. but floyd agreed. so that crushes your little argument
pac agreed to test then went back on his word. even asking for 14 days, getting it and still ducking. floyd says test without cut offs or no fight and pac still wants 7 days.
haha, pac is a mental midget i guess. he didnt agree to what they said were, "floyds demands" they asked for 7 days.
you fools are dumb and full of lies
Why don't you read News about Pacman agreeing on this so called bloodtesting? The Accusers REFUSED to admit facts that their idol are so SILENT on fighting Pacman! a clear sign that he is either ducking or coward!
Lies? tell that to all ACCUSERS who can't even present solid evidence that Pacman is on drugs!
Fool? tell that to your Idol who think that he controls and dictate on what to do in Boxing!
haha. pactards talking about negotiating when their god doesnt know the meaning of the word.
you fail
I tried to have a meaningful dialogue with you but I guess that was just too much for you since you responded with a big ZERO of a comment.
Please carry on with that kind of useless comments if that is all you know!
haha. pactards talking about negotiating when their god doesnt know the meaning of the word.
you fail
maybe its you who doesn't know what negotiating means.
look it up in the dictionary it starts with the letter "n".
in your case, i wouldn't be surprised since you can't even count to ten and you tend to fantasize too much about asian women and floyd.
If Mayweather had forced someone like Fritzie Zivcic into taking a blood test, I would be offended by it. You don't seem to get that boxers can sometimes stand for more than just themselves. They can sometimes represent an entire people.
But besides that, it wasn't my point. The point is that politics is a fickle thing and it isn't as easy as "oh sure, Mr. Mayweather, I'll take your blood tests" and then life goes on as normal.
You don't think that one of his opponents would have called him weak willed if he did it? You don't know.
Sometimes people tend to forget that Asians, especially Filipinos, are too sensitive when it comes to their PRIDE.
In Asian culture, Honor and Dignity come not so much from success but from the good name they have established. And if this is ruined simply by an accusation that has no basis and proofs, it hurts them. Different reactions usually emerge:
One, which is usually the American way of responding: Confront it, headstrong and deal with it...ex. "suck it up, have yourself drug tested if you don't have anything to hide."
The other reaction is this: Asians, Filipinos in particular (esp. those who live their lives entirely in the Philippines), are more sensitive in general...they would rather not confront an accusation right away but would rather go first around the bush...before confronting it later on...emotions usually get ahead of many Filipinos rather than deal with it pragmatically. It take sometime for them to settle their emotions. Some of my american friends with whom I happened to work with couldn't understand why three of our best workers in the company opted to resign rather than defend themselves after they were accused of something they didn't do. We lost three good and reliable people that day who never had any records in the past for doing things bad against the company. When they were asked why they chose to resign, they simply told us, they would rather that there record and performance speak for themselves. They said that if the company doesn't believe that, then they would prefer resigning and look for another job. For americans, this seems ridiculous, but for filipinos, it's more about trust, honor and pride.
This is the kind of what Pacquiao did actually. He went around the bush at the onset not because he was guilty...but because his emotions/pride got over him first..he went to file instead a case against mayweather for maligning his reputation...he decided to take Clottey instead of giving in to Floyd's demands...all the while he must have been thinking, if I lose simply because I gave in to Mayweather's demand, would his people still vote for him? For many filipinos especially who really are born, brought up and lived entirely in the Philippines, "Giving in to Floyd's demand is like kissing his @$$."
I agree that Pacquiao was not thinking not just about boxing then but also about his Pride and his Life outside of Boxing which many posters here seem not to consider.
if a 14 day cut off was good enough in the first negotiations and an 18 day cut off was good enough for mosley/wifebeater, then a 7 day cut off is more than adequate.
b.c he had already said, test up without cut off, or no fight.
you pactards are stupid
So what.
You are making it sound like what Floyd says becomes law.... lol!
Floyd went up to 14 days to supposedly get the fight on. You calling Floyd stupid too for changing his mind? Or is that OK because Floyd is aloud to say and do anything and everything he wants?
These are called negotiations.
Nothing is set in stone.
Manny says 7, Floyd says 2, Manny then says 5, Floyd counters with 3 .... Manny says 4 and its a DEAL .... Floyd responds, lets get it on!
Was that so hard?
With Manny saying what he said recently and for Floyd not coming back and responding no way, I'm quite sure this will NOT be a problem if they ever do get back into the negotiations mode.
It's NOT FLOYD, it's only his fans that seem to be stuck in reverse!
The problem is everything is blamed on poor Manny!
The truth is Floyd Mayweather Jr is NOT over and above Boxing Authorities.
The truth is Pacman has already agreed on this blood testing!
Is there deference if you have blood testing right after the fight?
simultaneously with urine test?
Psychologically the very purpose of this blood testing is to weaken Pacman!
But somehow he already agreed to have blood testing but unfortunately the Mayweather Camp were so SILENT!
Only those loyal fans of his, who keep on rehashing the issue.
The real reason that I thought that Pacquiao wasn't going for that demand was because it would have made him look weak, it would have weakened his image. Don't forget that he was running for a political office at the time.
Do you think that the Filipino people would have been impressed by him being pushed around by Floyd Mayweather Jr in negotiations? I wouldn't.
I wasn't surprised that he chose to wait until after the election to accept all of those things.
Manny has another life outside of boxing, a life that seems more important to him than boxing. He seemed to want to do anything to get elected. Not bending to the will of Mayweather was probably a part of that.
But at the same time it made him look like he was hiding something. He could have made himself look so much better by saying "I'll do it, I have nothing to hide". Then if he turned around at beat Mayweather, all the attention would have went to that. The negotiations would have been completely over shadowed by his victory. But I'm sure Pacquiao wasn't that confident in a victory.
who walked away from the fight, who has continued to refuse OST even affter getting his 14 days. after floyd said test up to the fight or no fight, how come pac ask for cutt offs. how come pac came up with a million and one lies why he cant take test or test without cut offs.
there was no 2nd negotiation since pac asked for 7 days.
that was easy
lol! Fraud did not ask for OST any of his prevoius fights. Why so suddenly he asked for against Pac? You flomos were saying a loooong loooong time ago Pac only fought those old, shot, weight drained, paid to dive, smart match making, coming off from big losses, slow, Floyd left over, etc.. So why asked for OST if he was not scared? I'm also pretty sure all Pac wins if I based on what you said flomos all along there is nothing to be afraid of, right? So why asked for OST?
I could give Manny credit for not taking 2 weeks only if....

A better question is why wouldn't floyd accept the 7 days that is obviously shorter than the 14 days he originally offered?
If 14 days was considered fair then, why isn't it fair now?
The real reason that I thought that Pacquiao wasn't going for that demand was because it would have made him look weak, it would have weakened his image. Don't forget that he was running for a political office at the time.

Nice one! Some people here really thought that Pacquiao's life is merely boxing. One doesn't make a decision merely because of only one reason...there are so many things to consider when making a decision.
His run for congressman could have been the one reason that was first considered when he refused to be bullied by Mayweather's antics.
funny how you idiots dont want to mention that duckquaio walked away from the 14 days he asked for :bottle:
So what part of Pacquiao's abilities is Mayweather so afraid of, that he thinks it's the result of PEDS? And are those abilities so great that he thinks he has no chance? And what happens if Pacquiao does not test positive during those blood tests? Does Mayweather back down because Pacquiao might still have those abilities? At the end of it all it's the abilities he's afraid of, right?
funny how you idiots dont want to mention that duckquaio walked away from the 14 days he asked for :bottle:
funny how you idiots ignore the public's cry that floyd is a pu$$y...
ssshhhiiit.....floyd came from wantin 14 days to 0 cut off....what got him shook is the real question?....here is the answer:....the pac's desruction of cotto shook him more then ever!
Bottom line is that both fighters are scared of eachother.
I blame Floyd and Manny for this BS.
**** changes all the time with these dudes. What a pair of *******.
Both don't want to lose to the other so therefore they duck one another and ask for stupid demands like blood test, 10 million for each pound, etc.
Whats worst is reading all these post from flomos and pactards fighting over which ***** is sweeter. 1 ***** + 1 ***** = 2 *****es.
Who asked for OST?
Who went to vacation?
Who choose to silence himself and keep quiet about the fight?
Who denied the 2nd negotiation?
Who get piss off easily upon mentioning Pacs name?
The answer I would like to find out from Mayweather is, what part of Pacquiao's game is he afraid of? Is it the speed? The stamina? The ability to take heavy punches and have no effect on his performance? Is he afraid he could get injured badly or get killed? What is it about Pacquiao's ability that scares him so?
And by having blood tests, will that give him enough confidence that Pacquiao will show up for the fight not having the same abilities? I think not, I think Mayweather finally figured it out, that there is no way he can definitely know for sure that Pacquiao will be coming in with less ability because he had blood tests.
Do I see this fight happening? No.
I read just to make the fight, Pacquiao was quoted as saying he is willing to have blood tests up to the 6th round. Knowing Mayweather, he'll still find a way not to make the fight. Can't blame him. If someone is not willing it doesn't matter what the other guy does, because there are a million ways to find excuses.
Just think about it, what guarantee does Mayweather have that Pacquiao won't show up just as fast, just as strong and just as powerful after all those tests? It's a no brainer really, there is no guarantee, so do you think Mayweather will still want to face that Pacquiao?
Bottom line is that both fighters are scared of eachother.
I blame Floyd and Manny for this BS.
