Re-watching Pacquiao vs DLH

I love rewatching this fight. De la Hoya wanted an easy win so picked on a lightweight then managed to totally misjudge his own weight. So he stepped into the ring without the size advantage he thought he'd have against a guy who turned out to be both bigger and better than he was supposed to be. Everybody knows the rest.

i dont mind...the only reason i cant really get hyped for this fight is because i like Shane...i dont wanna see him get hurt what i really wanted was a Paulie-PAC fight...that's the kind of beatdown that i can enjoy :D paulie was supposedly an option along with marquez and foreman but than team pac went to fight clottey

a lot of my PAC fan friends here and in real life hate it when i say this but, if Floyd signed onto fight Paulie, i would probably root for Floyd...i hate B-level fighters with A-level egos and mouths i still remember malignaggi accusing pacquiao being on drugs, he talked like he was the one negotiating with arum & co. he had nothing to do with the whole situation, was no part of it, yet still talked & made a fool out of himself. which was probably the reason why roach was hoping for a brutal KO when khan fought him but he has a good chin though :D

i hate to throw out cliches but any professional that's highly motivated and well trained has a chance PAC does get hit...sometimes he allows himself to get hit and Shane has enough power however, i just see PAC turning Shane over and over and unloading combos on him...and when your best shot at winning is a 'lucky shot' it doesn't look good Yeah. If pacquiao stands in frotn of shane to often he will no doubt get caught with a big shot, shanes power in 1 punch is probs the best in the 147lbs division. If it goes 12 rounds, pac by 118-110 UD. But with shane possessing the power he does, hes always in the fight

first of all morales & pac werent p4p #1 and #2 when the fight took place. and u cant really compare losing to morales with losing to floyd, this is just crazy. everyone is talking about floyd vs manny, the pre fight hype wasnt even 1% as big as it is in this case. a pactard would rather see him lose to a bum again. when was the last time two prime top 2 p4p fighters fought in the same division without actually fighting eachother? it would be a shame if this fight doesnt happen. Would be a great shame if this super-fight was never to happen. Too many issues at the back end of 2009 early 2010 that made the fight very difficult to make. Hopefully before the end of 2012, we will get this fight on, n Floyd will whoop pacquiao
