I just saw Pacquiao vs DLH and no I am not going to comment about how Pacquiao looked like a Filipino running back beating on what looks like a starving Mexican look alike of DLH. It was a great fight that catapulted Pacquiao's HOF career, that is all I have to say.
But what I found interesting was at the beginning of the fight they showed that Hatton, Margarito, and Mosley was at the fight.
And in the later rounds, I think the 8th round. Lampley was talking to his co-analyst (I forgot the name, the black guy who looks like Cleaveland from family guy) about Pacquiao possibly fighting Margarito and Cleaveland says "No, I do not see that in the future because Pacquiao's camp said he's going back to the 130 lbs range."
It's pretty ironic that 2 years later Pacquiao would have fought and beat the same boxers that were watching that fight, except for Thomas Hearns and Mike Tyson who was at ringside of course... oh yeah Reggie Miller too. Lol.
-Kirby-;9889960']That's all nice and dandy but I don't listen to anything the media says. They're corrupt as hell. Sorry. No video, no proof. I can easily start my own website and say Manny is on Power Pellets and post fake "proof" and it would go nuts. I have video evidence of HIM saying he's gonna go down to 140 if he were to win. So that means Margarito had to go down to 140 mister.
Why you are sooooo stupid, dumb and idiot as fvck?
I love rewatching this fight.
De la Hoya wanted an easy win so picked on a lightweight then managed to totally misjudge his own weight. So he stepped into the ring without the size advantage he thought he'd have against a guy who turned out to be both bigger and better than he was supposed to be. Everybody knows the rest.
i dont mind...the only reason i cant really get hyped for this fight is because i like Shane...i dont wanna see him get hurt
what i really wanted was a Paulie-PAC fight...that's the kind of beatdown that i can enjoy :D
paulie was supposedly an option along with marquez and foreman but than team pac went to fight clottey
a lot of my PAC fan friends here and in real life hate it when i say this but, if Floyd signed onto fight Paulie, i would probably root for Floyd...i hate B-level fighters with A-level egos and mouths
i still remember malignaggi accusing pacquiao being on drugs, he talked like he was the one negotiating with arum & co.
he had nothing to do with the whole situation, was no part of it, yet still talked & made a fool out of himself.
which was probably the reason why roach was hoping for a brutal KO when khan fought him
but he has a good chin though :D
i hate to throw out cliches but any professional that's highly motivated and well trained has a chance
PAC does get hit...sometimes he allows himself to get hit and Shane has enough power
however, i just see PAC turning Shane over and over and unloading combos on him...and when your best shot at winning is a 'lucky shot' it doesn't look good
Yeah.
If pacquiao stands in frotn of shane to often he will no doubt get caught with a big shot, shanes power in 1 punch is probs the best in the 147lbs division. If it goes 12 rounds, pac by 118-110 UD. But with shane possessing the power he does, hes always in the fight
what i really wanted was a Paulie-PAC fight...that's the kind of beatdown that i can enjoy :D
yeah.. for someone with a 1% ko percentage he has a big mouth..

Do you see shane having a chance of beating pac?
so not only are you praying that Floyd would get back in the ring, you're hoping he pulls off a Torrecampo :lol1:
Happy New Year, Teddy...try not to expect too much for 2011 :D
t3d wishes u a happy new year too, but u shouldnt also expect too much this year, especially not on may 7 :D
first of all morales & pac werent p4p #1 and #2 when the fight took place.
and u cant really compare losing to morales with losing to floyd, this is just crazy.
everyone is talking about floyd vs manny, the pre fight hype wasnt even 1% as big as it is in this case.
a pactard would rather see him lose to a bum again.
when was the last time two prime top 2 p4p fighters fought in the same division without actually fighting eachother?
it would be a shame if this fight doesnt happen.
Would be a great shame if this super-fight was never to happen. Too many issues at the back end of 2009 early 2010 that made the fight very difficult to make. Hopefully before the end of 2012, we will get this fight on, n Floyd will whoop pacquiao
actually, PAC has already lost a few times...he's not scared to death to lose an '0' and the country did fine after El Terrible beat him....no really, noone cried :D

Emmanuel Steward?
Anyways I watched that fight once a month or whenever I'm not in a good mood. Is a fight that makes me feel better.
:lol1::lol1: yup....I used to like to see his reaction to that B.Hop body shot....but the boy Manny tortured him.....round after round....brutal-ful :lol1:
i also hope to win the lotto but it's called reality, Teddy
the truth is, Floyd has made well over $50mil in his two fights with Shane and JMM...he came back to 'rob some money real quick'...which is what he did...boxing is Floyd's ATM and will only go back when he needs more
reality Teddy....reality
why should he stay inactive, when he can get a lot more money than he did in his last two fights combined by fighting pacquiao?
floyd MONEY mayweather, thats his nickname.
he wants to fight him, the question is does pacquiao..
pacquiao has more to lose than floyd, we both know this.
he is like a god already in his home country, imagine all these little kids crying after floyd makes him look like an amateur.
pacquiao doesnt want to disappoint his people, nobody likes floyd in the us anyway, they call him a coward already on national tv, he has nothing to lose.
if i were floyd, i would fight him in the philippines.
the thrilla in manila reloaded, can u imagine how big that fight would be ?
mentally?
that's not what's gonna get him back in the ring...its when his funds dwindle...by that time, PAC will be some fat guy in congress that's reaping the rewards of corrupt money
if thats what u want..
i still hope the fight happens, so everyone can see i was right, i like being right :D
i will probably post screenshots of my older comments after the fight, just to piss off pactards.
there wont be a 3rd fight...according to the book of Williams, you dont get a 3rd fight if you get KOd in the 2nd...that's how Quintana got rubbed off
china history > all latin america
Teddy,
Aint it a b1tch to have to pin your hopes on a pus5y that doesn't even want to fight? :lol1:
dont worry, he will fight when he feels mentally ready to fight again.
nanay mo kamuka ni Paul Williams
:dunno: Mi gusta Sergio Martinez porque tiene mucho experiencia in la peleas. Yo quiero que Martinez mata a Williams in la tercera pelea.
thanks for admitting oscar was in a bad shape, u just did contradict yourself.
but it had nothing to do with him being lazy and not preparing for the fight, he simply couldnt make 147.
if anything, u could say he was dumb to think that he could get back his old welterweight body with proper training, but i dont see how this makes me give pacquiao more credit for WINNING the FIGHT..
but i agree though, pac deserves credit for not being an idiot and fighting oscar.
i really hope mayweather vs pacquiao happens this or the next year, so i can see u all cry like little girls on nsb:
"OH, little pacquiao was a blown up minimumweight anyway, floyd gets no credit"
"pacquiao will be still rated above floyd in the atg rankings, because floyd fought bums"
"pac is still a better fighter, because he is a congressman" :D
but i doubt it, pacquiao wont fight floyd.
You got all of that from my comment? If so...then wow, I really don't know what to say.
I never touched on Oscar's physical condition, rather just mentioned that it's know ones fault but your own if you show up to a fight looking like sh1t. That's speaking in general and applies to any fighter.
And what does Floyd vs Manny have to do with anything being discussed in this thread?
waitafrikkingminute
KIRBY,
are you a self-loathing pinoy? :lol1:
