Met Macho Chamacho today...

I actually have trained with both Camacho SR and Camacho JR for close to a year at "The Box" Gym in Orlando florida. SR is about as punch drunk as it gets and is a cocaine user. And JR is cool but alittle delutional. He thinks hes better then Cotto, Zab Judah and many more of his peers his age and is constintly trying to verbally prove it to casual fans who wouldnt know better. JR is also very lazy. Refused to do resistance training and core work and once was eating Taco bell WHILE he trained. SR has another son named Christian Camacho who is just as bad. Hes 17 and an amuerter is is constintly lying about his record and brags and boasts more then he father (SR) who actually has reason to brag. I personally have witnessed Christan camacho being knocked out twice. Once at the Platinum Gloves tournament at the Hyatt here in Orlando florida and once in sparring. I believe you because Jr, was acting like he was the ****...Until he quit on his stool

How punch drunk was he? I saw a video taken not long ago where he was looking fat and out of shape and his speech was slurred and he almost looked like he was going to drool and he was talking about making a comeback. He may have been just drunk.

A HUGE one. I met him a few months before the Margarito fight, and he was incredibly snobby. And it's not like he was having a bad day, everyone else that has ever met him here in PR says hes a huge prick. Unless he's drunk, then he just starts acting "gay" for laughs or hitting on you if you're a woman. Cotto is just pure badass in my opinion. His personality matches his appearance then I guess - One tuff loooking mutha****a!

Judging by this and the 24/7s, Cotto seems to have a fondness for gay jokes. Does he just party here and there or is he a big drunk in general? Oh, he's a frequent partier. He was at a club here mad drunk the week after the Pacquiao fight! I've also seen him many times at bars, always with a drink in his hand. He's like the typical insecure dude that needs to drink a lot in order to let loose, and when he does, he acts like a complete idiot. It's sad and pathetic. Macho might party a lot, but at least he is charismatic and agreeable. Cotto is just an arrogant attention whore.

I remember hearing one story where Camacho was pulled over by the cops for driving too slow. The cop asks him what was he doing, and he tells the cop something like "well you see there is this woman right here on top of me, what do you think we were doing?" :lol1: :lol1:

I think a lot of people forget (or don't know) what a seriously talented guy he was. One of the fastest guys ever with his hands, also had fast legs and movement, decent pop, fluid where he seemed to be more "natural" with his boxing. I definitely agree. He had tons of personal problems that contributed to him not being able to fulfill all his potential, but he was still a great fighter. Nah cool story I've met Jr after his loss to Andriy Tsurkan since im good friends with Tsurkan So he's a character even away from boxing? Oh yeah, he's a trip. The cool thing is that you can tell he's a fun-loving dude, that he's not doing it to draw attention to himself or because he thinks he's better than people.
