lol..there will be other mainstream fighters man..always has and aways will be boxing aint what it use to be larry. if floyd and pac fight guys like khan, bradley, alexander, canelo and berto its possible though. stars make stars, oscar made trinidad, mosley, floyd, pac etc. stars now its up to floyd and pac to do the same.

canelo can go mainstream i agree, canelo is one of the very few young boxers today that can become mainstream. he's young, mexican, the ladies love him. he could be the next oscar if he's managed properly and keeps on winning fights.

As a fellow Mexican I have to say I'm not truly convinced that Canelo Alvarez is going to be something special. Then again I'm smart enough to not put so much stock in to promising prospects only to be disappointed, I rather be pleasantly surprised. Not saying the kid doesn't have potential, but I just don't see that IT factor.
