Cotto's best performance post-losing, he is going to look resurrected in this one. Oh and No Mayorga's has too many bad habits im surprised he's made it this far as an athlete.
Both are shot and were the same in there prime(Not style wise but both were B level fighters). It is going to be a pillow fight who ever is in better shape will win
I wouldn't go as far as to say Cotto's shot. I believe people use that term too loosely on this site. Mayorga on the other hand has seen his share of ass whippings and without question his career is hanging by a thread (Thanks to Don King)
I also don't know about calling this a pillow fight. Both guys are coming to take the other out, one is just fresher and all around a better fighter than the other (Cotto).
I think he does have a chance. Slim chance but there is a chance.
Cotto starts off slow, that coupled with the fact that he hasn't fought since last June is scary.
First two to three rounds is when Mayorga is the most dangerous and when Cotto may be in a bit of danger. Not to mention that when Cotto gets popped good he goes into this shell.
I think Cotto's body attack will be very present in this fight, which ultimately will stop Mayorga.
Mayorga's got a puncher's chance, but I don't see him hurting Cotto.
On March 12th???
Anyone actually picking him?
I'm picking Mayorga to win by ko. THat dude is underrated but he has some boxing skills. He will be throwing heavy handed punches that will land cuz cotto has no defense. If you've followed cotto early in his career he tends to get wobbled from time to time and i think mayorga will stop him...
Cotto is shot

yes he does...he's very capable of doing a margo on cotto.....he's way bigger, relentless attacker, and does'nt mind taking punches to deliver his own...
he has a shot at landing that crazy sh*t that stopped Forrest or even those wild uppercuts he tends to throw but cotto is far too smart a fighter to lose to this guy
