The Barrera rematch - Barrera had just came off a war against JMM and lost.
The JMM rematch - This is the only guy who you can honestly say was at thet op of his game that Pac has fought in the last few years
David Diaz - A total gimmie fight for Pac. Struggled with a nobody with a knockoutless record on the undercard of JMM-Pac 2.
Oscar - Got busted up by a non puncher in Steve Forbes with the cheek bone thing
Hatton - He destroyed Malinaggi and all that, but what about the time he nearly got KOd by Lazcano
Cotto - Barely survived against a low intensity fighter in Clottey
Clottey - What was the point in this fight?
Margarito - I can actually understand this fight and wasn't all that mad with it, just the aspect of the title even though I didn't like the way Margarito looked against Garcia
Mosley - Coming off two horrible performances.
And another thing that needs to be touched on too, is the fact that even though this fight with Mosley isn't at a catch weight, it's gonna be at 147 which in reality makes the fight less competitive in my view because Mosley last fought at 154 against Mora.
It seems like Pacquiao just catches guys at the right time. He could've put all this criticism to bed if he just sat idle for a couple months and await the winner of the Bradley-Alexander fight since their excuse was that Berto is unproven (which he is) and JMM is too small or priced himself out or whatever.
And even though Mosley might beat JMM due to the size factor, that don't change the fact he's still not a tougher fight for Pacquiao like Merchant and the rest of Pacquiao's blind fans are letting on like. His jab and foot work has always been garbage and he's lost to every boxer he's faced except for the first Oscar fight. Pacquiao just fought Margarito and let him come in at 152 so why can't he let Mosley come in like that too? Pacquiao deserves all this heat he is getting even though it seems tiring to get on this site and see the forums are filled with this very topic. Floyd shouldn't have anything to do with Pacquiao's choice of opponents now because there are still top guys out there for Manny to fight.
There is a reason why Mayweather sells more than Pac with the same common opponents, Mayweather fights them when they are perceive a threat by the media/public while Pac fights them when they look vulnerable in a previous fight.
This could be true.

Lemme guess whats the TS' idea of how a dangerous fighter looks like :
A Fat lightweight fighting at Welterweight division and who drinks his own piss ??
I hate this fight but let's get this straight. He didn't chicken out of Martinez.
He said he won't fight above 147 again right after he slaughtered Margarito.
so he just got the fakeass **** worth title against a punching bag and ran.
Pac's most disgusting mistake is to take on this old Mosley who just came from a lowsy performance against Mora.
I'm a big Pac fan but with this recent choice of opponent and as a boxing fan, i'll say to him and ROach "Go to Hell suckers".
However, I know come fight night I will still watch it. shiit Pac why choose Mosley?
You guys are too funny.
On the PED threads you have Manny looking like superman by saying he is able to do the impossible ... he is KOing guys way bigger than him .... not even Floyd did that to Oscar, Hatton, .... so how could a small Manny do that ... it must be the PEDs.
but in this thread, it's because his opponents are no good.
You guys should all get together and get your story straight because if you would do that in court, the judge would laugh you straight out of the courtroom!

I totally agree.
Manny is definatly a media hyped fighter alot of manny's fans aren't true boxing fans there more Manny fans than anything and they don't care who he fights. The media will see him beating Mosley and say that he beat another bigger guy who was a world champ. True boxing fans know dat Mosley used to be great but isn't the same now and didn't deserve this fight and manny is know hand picking his opponents
Make it simple. "I hate Pac! Save you all the effort of writing that.you posting this is doing nothing for you---it's doing nothing for me--you telling me to say i hate pac won't shorten up my posts--i don't know why you keep trying-lol
it's not working cocka-lady---get over it---
it's funny--you responded to iceta lives by starting off your post with the same sh1t you did with me, but why didn't you add anything to this one?lol
because you can't dispute my post---it's too good--that's a tendancy with pacquiao fans on here when it comes to my posts and threads--they find time to respond to my threads and posts with, "it's too long, i'm not reading that long as novel, or love letter, or whatever"...but never even making an attempt to argue against it logically--because they can't--i'm too well schooled--get my drift cowboy?lol
bascially he does--his timing is fukking terrible when he fights these guys, yet his dumbass fans still defend his every move--yet bash floyd when he fights these guys--
didn't people bash floyd for fighting oscar saying he was inactive and over the hill-lol
well, wasn't margarito inactive for 2 years, only to have 1 terrible fight in his comeback to the sport, yet, arum threw him right in the ring with manny at a catchweight for a title-
okay yes, hatton stopped paulie, but then again, who the hell hasn't? lascano was tagging hatton up, and nearly stopped him with the same punch floyd did--
shane was utterly dominated by floyd, and drew with mora, yet, he's about to fight manny
i don't care that manny lost to morales--there was no excuse for him not to fight raheem 1st, and then fight morales again--that would have given erik a chance to gain his momentum back against a game opponent--or he could have fought zahir after he fought eric--yet, he didn't-
cotto had a drag out fight with clottey and looked terrible--blame the cut, whatever, he looked terrible--he should have fought shane, who knocked out margarito--and was willing to fight manny at a catweight lower than what cotto did for the undisputed ww championship, which shane held, not cotto--floyd fought shane at 147 and dominated him at 147, not 145--
now, manny was forcing jmm to come up 3 more pounds than floyd had jmm come in, yet, he's defended by his fans, claiming he's a ww now, all of a sudden, when the fukker just came in at 145.5 pounds against margarito--it's funny all of a sudden that manny is a ww now to his fans, but wasn't when shane called him out, despite fighting oscar at 147, and weighing 148 fight night, and he looked great in that fight didn't he? or was it that oscar looked dead?-lol
i'm not fooled by the bullsh1t like pound4pound and pullcounter are, and yes, i'll keep posting those fool's names in my posts because they seem to lead the pactards' revolution--
manny always came in at jr ww and ww when he fought at the lower divisions am i right? so, he was draining himself to make weight---yet, when he looked like superman when he fought oscar--who looked dead in that fight from the opening bell--yet, when it came time to fight shane, manny couldn't do it coz he wasn't big enough yet, and even when shane gave into his bullsh1t catchweight fiasco, manny still said no---
his fans argue that cotto beat shane, so why fight shane 1st? okay, well, margarito tko'ed cotto, and shane fukked tony up--why not fight the undisputed champion of the division?
didn't floyd fight baldomir, who was the undisputed champion back in 2006 and shane, who was the undisputed champion of the division in 2009 and 2010? doesn't that make floyd the undisputed champion(2x to be exact)
yet, he's bashed because he he didn't fight him 5 years ago and 10 years ago, even though it was shane who opted not to fight him--then decides to call floyd out after the de la hoya fight? all of a sudden, he wanted floyd? man please--had floyd not fought hatton in 2007, he would have been sh1tted on by people everywhere--he goes on to fight him at 147, then all of a sudden, hatton was too small--he looked bad in his first fight at ww, despite knocking callazo down in round 1 and winning a title from him--they claim hatton's best weight was 140, yet, tend to leave out that floyd called out hatton like no other back in 2004 and 2005, and hatton said, he wasn't ready for floyd---didn't he basically call floyd out like jmm did, like de la hoya did with manny? yet, manny gets defended by his fans for the de la hoya fight because oscar called him out, yet, floyd gets hammered for fighting smaller guys even though they called him out---so, it's the size now right? yet, floyd started his professional career at 130, while ricky has fought at 140 basically his whole career, and even walks around at 170-180 pounds--meaning he's naturally bigger than floyd is---
barerra did lost to jmm before manny fought him, but people did have marco winning against jmm, but in the record books, he lost--yet, manny fought him anyway before he took the rematch with jmm--and it took him 4 years to do so--
floyd got bashed for fighting judah before baldomir, yet, manny gets a pass for the morales and barerra fights, because of their names and 1 losing effort not making them bad all of a sudden, yet, people on here seem to hold these fighters hostage when they lose and then basically killing them afterwards---they make them irrelavant after they lose and don't try and claim you don't--because you know you do-
they b1tch at floyd for protecting his 0, and claim that all of the greats had a loss, and make it seem as if, you're cherry picking if you don't lose-lol-that's some weak sh1t isn't it? but then they sh1t on you right after you lose and make you feel as if that loss shuns away your whole career--
manny fighting clottey after he walked away from the mayweather fight was a blatant sissy move on his part--him fighting margarito and getting the praise he did for it sickens me--yet, shane was too old when he fought floyd, now he's fighting manny, and of course it'll be at 147 now, when shane just fought at 154, but because shane's been a ww longer than a jr mw, it's okay for manny to fight him now--and of course manny will fight him at 147 and not a catchweight because there's no title on the line---
how in the hell can manny be considered this mystical being, breaking all of these records, by winning titles at catchweights--not fighting the actual undisputed champions of the division at the actual weight classes?lol--manny is not an 8 division champion at all---his last true title win was at 135, equivalent to floyd fighting baldomir--
his dumb fans can grasp on to him all they want, but i'm a realest--manny is full of rotten sh1t, and so is his fukking boss---because manny is the fighter, not arum--manny needs to be his own man--he has let hus team run his career---and make dumb choices for him and he gives into them everytime--every single time--his trainer is so special right, but he couldn't be anymore dumb basically admitting that mannys' opponents are over the hill, shot, losers, out of their primes, look terrible, you get my drift i think-lol--he's basically about as honest as it comes though--because they are--
you pac freaks charge floyd with not fighting margarito and cotto and clottey and stuff like that, but leave out that floyd did want to fight cotto--in fact he wanted to fight margarito, had bob promised him cotto and hatton for 10 million each--i mean, why couldn't bob do that--he pays out of his pockets for manny's asking price---he offered margarito to floyd for 8 million--even though margarito hadn't done anything to make the fight with floyd worthy of a blockbuster--i mean, baldomir was the cinderella man--
and for the fans going on youtube and watching margarito call floyd out, when he knew floyd was waiting for oscar, and trying to use that as their arguing point, basically only going off that because they really don't follow the sport---they just latch on to everybody else's thoughts--they make me sick also--
it was arum that kept cotto far away from floyd--because cotto was scouting out floyd at 2 fights back to back---and cotto was cotto's up and coming superstar--bob knew that cotto was too green to fight floyd and cotto looked as if he wanted no part of floyd--i don't think he ever did--especially after the gatti fight---but after the bruselles fight--did anybody know that cotto was the lead sparring partner for bruselles before he fought floyd, and after floyd dominated him, and cotto was at the fight, cotto kept his mouth shut when it came to floyd---arum knew himself, especially after the gatti performance that there was no way in hell cotto was going to fight floyd--he would have been killed--and it was until floyd left toprank due to arum's devious schemes, basically what he's still doing today, to keep more money in his pockets, that he started talking trash about how floyd didn't fight cotto and margarito, knowing that floyd couldn't do business with arum anymore--arum can convince you people on here that floyd ducked these guys, while manny fought them all he wants, but realests know the truth--arum is going to do his best to keep manny away from floyd---
he's more than satisfied to have manny just surpass floyd in terms of legacy as long as he doesn't step foot in the ring against floyd-he knows the outcome already, and there's no other fighter out there that bob will hate manny to lose to more than floyd mayweather jr, his former superstar---just look at bob's testimony about floyd during the judah press conference--claiming that floyd is the greatest fighter since ali, in terms of skill--and he emphasized skill level--he knows that this kid has the greatest skill set professional boxing has ever produced--at this point, it's obvious--
let manny continue fighting tomato cans--his fans will ride with him until the end, and that's great--it's just unfortunate for them, and it'll be bittersweet that the end is near--when he fights floyd mayweather jr, his reign will end, tragically-lol
and i can't wait to rub it in his fans' faces--because i damn sure will-bwahahahahahahahahahahahah--that's how it goes doesn't it pull?lol
Make it simple. "I hate Pac! Save you all the effort of writing that.

Floyd shouldn't have anything to do with Pacquiao's choice of opponents now because there are still top guys out there for Manny to fight.
You have so much time writing this a piece of sh!t. Why not just say..."I HATE PAC! So its simple and will save you much brain cells in doing so. Everybody can twist any fact to suite their own agenda. Like why Floyd fought 140 Hatton at 147 instead of any legit welterweight or why Floyd fought 135 JMM at 147 instead of any legit welterweight or why he didn't fought Mosley when he was 3 years younger? Floyd 5 years in welterweight why he can't see Williams, Clottey, Cotto and Margarito within his own division? You only looking into negative side why those fights took place.
Barrera
JMM
Morales
Diaz
Oscar
Hatton
Cotto
Clottey
Margarito
All the above fighters are champion in their respective divisions. They are far from being a bum as you tried to portrait. These fighters either they coming off from a loss or shot. By the time Pac fought each of them if match them against another top fighter within their own division, they gave or will pose so much problem for anyone. Then against Pac all of the sudden they have no chance at all. Why? Maybe Pac was that so good it didn't cross on your mind?
you can blame pac as much as you can blame pwill for getting KTFO

http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x97/soxanddawgs/box_a_sergio15_600.jpgPAc, Martinez, PW, Cotto, Margs...you can blame them for getting ktfo. You can't blame Floyd for anything except crimes, and I bet you want Floyd to go to prison so PAc can become king of the world in your mind lol...
Was Shane Mosley inactive for 1 year and 7 months when Floyd fought him?
Did Hatton struggled at 147 against Collazo? Hatton is natural 140 pounder and his resume at 140 undefeated beat key fighters at 140 and not at 147..
Was Marquez fighting at 130 and 135 pounders? How does FLoyd agree to a catchweight fight and cheating his way to victory?
Did Floyd Retire when Cotto and Margarito were dominating 147? Did Floyd came back from retirement picking a Lightweight Marquez?
Pacquiao era - Floyd only fought 2 times in the last 4 years... That's the effect when someone is dominating
So who the f*ck do you want Pacquiao to face? Huh? If he didn't face them, everyone would be calling him a ducker. The f*cking stupidity in this forum has reached it's highest point. I come here to read some good, decent thread but instead, I have to read this bull****.
Why not Blame Pac?
Pac persoanlly turned down Foreman. So that means he couldve turned down Clottey, Marg, Mosley, Diaz, etc. Manny has a BIG say in who he fights.
you can blame pac as much as you can blame pwill for getting KTFO

I'm not quite sure if Bradley can be competitive with Pac just yet. He can avoid his punches and match his workrate, but he'll have a hard time hurting him. The only way I'll believe that he can be competitive against Manny is if he blows out Alexander and then goes on to beat JMM and Berto.
Alexander on the other hand would get destroyed. He has limited footwork and head movement, average defense and there's seriously nothing he can do that Pacquiao can't do better. Pac's faster, stronger, harder punching, has better footwork, throws better combinations, is smarter, has better jab resistence, etc.
So at the moment Mosley is a better choice than both. And I'd love to see anyone here say that Berto would beat Mosley right now...It just wouldn't happen.
Don't blame him, blame Bob only.
Why not Blame Pac?
Pac persoanlly turned down Foreman. So that means he couldve turned down Clottey, Marg, Mosley, Diaz, etc. Manny has a BIG say in who he fights.
good thread bro.
I like how he was jmw champ after the Tony fight then when Martinez came knocking all the sudden he bitched out and claimed to be too small.
Yeah, in the pants.
:lol1:
I hate this fight but let's get this straight. He didn't chicken out of Martinez.
He said he won't fight above 147 again right after he slaughtered Margarito.
One has to take a closer look on what Larry Mrchant has to say about Mosley, Pacman' next opponent:
HBO's expert analyst Larry Merchant considers "Sugar" Shane Mosley as the most dangerous opponent among the three choices presented to Manny Pacquiao. The Filipino champion finalized a deal earlier this week to face Mosley on May 7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Merchant says Juan Manuel Marquez is the most profitable opponent, but Mosley is the most dangerous.
"I think Shane Mosley presents the most danger. You have to remember that Pacquiao is still fighting bigger guys. What would happen if Mosley fought Marquez? If you're asking who I think he should fight, and who would bring in the most money, then it's Marquez, but if you're asking me which of them is the most dangerous, then it's Shane Mosley," Merchant told BoxingScene.com
