in all fairness i think the pascal/dawson fight should be made first, then we got a good round robin going since hopkins can still fight a little...
i'm interested to see what happens if dawson beats pascal...does hopkins jump on a dawson fight the way he did with pascal....thats what i want to see
With all the crying and bs from Bhop's camp, if I was pascal I would tell him to go f*ck himself.
Last two guys pascal fought, their respective promoters did nothing but try to degrade him, the officials and canada in every way possible. F*ck them.
Screw Pascaland the bias officials, who the hell is Pascal. He can choose who to lose to Hopkins or chad, hopefully Hopkins.
I would rather it be in Philly. Oscar has Nevada so in his pocket Pascal would be better off fighting in Philly. Whitaker and Sturm would agree!LOL
Also Bhop was not as screwed over like so many of you think. Watch the fight again. Score 10-8 rounds as 10-8 rounds instead of trying to give bhop a break here and there. You will see how close that fight was in the end. It felt like Hop won because he was the one doing the late rally and the underdog.
I have never seen a close fight be called such a "robbery" before. Even the commentators had it close. This robbery bullsh|t has gotten way out of hand.
Like Pascal would win. I sure as hell don't see any knockdowns happening again, and we all saw that Pascal has not chance of not only outboxing Hopkins, but would also get killed in a phonebooth scrap.
I don't even know if I'd support a rematch. It's not that ol' snaggletooth doesn't deserve another shot; Bernard won a very close fight in my eyes. Rather, he's at that advanced age where its a miracle more serious stamina and speed issues aren't apparent and even the ageless wonder answers to father time.
There's no guarantee Hopkins can continue to fight on the level he was with Pascal the first time. That, and the fact that the young champion just went twelve and should feel a little more confidence the second time around, and I see no certainty that we'll be watching the same fight.
You can't always bottle lightning. Bernard may have just had his last great performance spoiled by those knockdowns early in the fight. Shame.
That is probably it's good to do a rematch very soon,Before BHop develop an acute arthritis or something.Although He made me feel good as an older person....whooping and keeping up a younger dude.

Yeah. I'm not calling it a robbery. It looks that way to a lot of people, based on Hopkins winning so many more rounds. But once you include the knockdowns, the scores are close.
The knockdowns make the scores close, which makes the fight itself appear closer than it actually was. But they must be counted, nonetheless.
either that or he's not as good as hyped up to be
He is good. He has fought some tough customers. Anyone who can get through Johnson twice and Adamek has the goods. I just don't think his head is in the sport as much since he hooked up with Prince.
I think he will also. He seemed unusually flat in the first fight. Second time around he should get it right. You never know though, he has sort of seemed disinterested as of late. Money issues, getting involved with too many outside influences. His bad fight may not have been a one-off, but could have been the beginning of a trend.

Dawson beats pascal in their rematch

Immediate rematch, but it should be somewhere up north. It won't draw shi t to vegas.
Buffalo, Philly, MSG, somewhere not to far for those frenchies to travel to.
Sure, rematch that $hit!!I felt B-Hop controlled most of the rounds, but those knockdowns, were legit & easily could have cost him the draw!!I felt B-Hop could have edged it!!But at least neither fighter got an L!!I think all really close fights should end in a draw by default!!

LOL. Like Canada was any better.
It's not like I asked for it to be in Philly.
Bhop went to Canada, fought the champion, and beat him. The fair thing to do is to have the rematch in the US.

Or would you actually expect Hopkins to fight Pascal, again, in Canada?
BHop just said he felt he got robbed,I doubt he will agree to fight in Canada again. And Pascal should fight him in Vegas to be fair and I think it will be bigger. PPV and earnings wise.
