Made a post a few months back about worst fight of the year.
Thankfully November/December has almost redeemed the rest of 2010 and we have finished with some good fights and an controversial one.
These are opinions from those who posted and some of mine if you don't agree... don't vote for that one.
After watching the fight for a second time around (for betting purposes), I realized that Hopkins-Jones II wasn't as bad as I initially felt. I was originally embarrassed for the fight and Hopkins, but it was just a clash of the best ring IQ's in boxing.
Mosley-Mora was absolutely unwatchable for the first 9-10 rounds and just terrible. Gets my vote. If Haye-Harrison lasted more than 3 rounds at the pace it was going, it would have been the clear front runner though.
Gaye/Fraudley gets my vote.
hahahaha How did I know you would have voted for that one too? lol I also chose that fight. Even tho it was a stoppage, both fighters didn't do crap most of the fight. I didn't think it would be a good fight, but I didn't expect it to be that bad. I can't imagine Haye fighting Wlad if he was that scared to engage with Harrison, who virtually had no chance.
I kinda just rushed and scrolled down to Mosley/Mora and voted.
I wanted a refund for the stream I watched. But Hop/RJJ was astoundingly, indescribably bad. I think anyone who ordered that should be refunded thricefold. A true "what the fkk just happened?" moment if I've ever seen one in 28 yrs of life.
Jones Jr. vs Nard II was probably the most painful fight I've ever tried to watch. It got so bad for me, I had to close the stream I was watching. God awful...
I fell asleep on that one.. no shit:sleeping:
It's a tie between Haye/Harrison and Williams/Cintron. The worst endings ever.
I didn't see Hopkins/Jones Jr.
I personally enjoyed Dirrell/Abraham. And Ward vs Green and Mosley vs Mayweather may not have been exciting fights, but they were masterful performances. Particularly Mayweather/Mosley

Hopkins-RJJ 2: I know everybody says it sucked, and yeah it was far from great, but I don't think it was the worst of the year. It had some weird moments that at least made it a bad spectacle (entertainment for the wrong reasons).
Williams - Cintron: At least the flying out of the ring was memorable and it gave us another chance to see Kermit be a bitch and laugh at him. The acting was comical.
Mosley-Mora: This one was just bad bad.
Ward - Green: Probably as bad as Mosely-Mora. The homoerotic subtext of constantly hugging and grinding foreheads didn't help.
Haye - Audley: A farce, but at least it only lasted 3 rounds and we got to see Haye in hot water afterwards.
Pac - Clottey: The brunette Colombian bartender at the bar was thick in the thighs with nice plump titties and had a cute face. She helped me forget this exhibition bout.
Dirrel - AA: Was an entertaining fight. A pity that it ended how it did. The Matrix wins the Oscar beating out Kermit by a green mile.
Mosley - May: That brief moment where it almost looked like Mayweather would be KOed was memorable. My friend who always invites me to smoke out at parties was there so I was nice and zooted this night, thus I had a good time even though I had to constantly argue with people who wanted to watch the NBA playoffs.
Before I clicked on this post, I just knew that Jones-Hopkins 2 would take it. But damn I forgot about Haye-Harrison! I'll still go with the former by a hair.
it's clearly briggs-green if you are going on sheer stupifying potential. 1 grazing jab was landed in the first 10 seconds of the fight and the guy takes the full 10 count.
dirrell abraham was pretty entertaining and may-mosley and ward-green were impressive performances imo but williams-cintron was probably the worst and weirdest fight of the year
