Can Floyd beat the 10 count from a Khan body shot?

Since when did Khan become such a vicious body puncher? He lands one great one on Maidana, and now he's notorious for body punching? :lol1:

mayweather wont be able to hurt khan. Khan has better handspeed and footwork than mayweather. Mayweather would lose by late round stoppage or decision. Khan does not have good footwork. He backs up in straight lines way too often, and not by design, as he doesn't do anything good when he gets on the ropes. He was getting the ring cut off on him by Maidana, whose ring-cutting abilities won't ever be confused with J.C. Chavez or George Foreman.

Relatively, Khan would be hard pressed to hit Mayweather in the body...perhaps the thing that could land is Khan's left hook or his right cross on the head. Khan have the speed (linear) and I think he also have the closing speed.

depending when the fight is Mayweather wins if they fight a old semi-retired mayweather than it might be interesting

What do you all think? I remember a while ago Roach answered a question put to him by a viewer while on ESPN. It was time back, I think after the Pac-Hatton fight, but before Pac-Cotto. A potential Pac-Mayweather fight was discussed and the viewer asked how they'd get around Floyd's shoulder roll. Roach said (I'm paraphrasing, it was a while ago) that it wasn't a problem and that Pac would smash Floyd's body to bits. I assume Khan will be given similar tactics. He has the speed and offensive framework. And at 147 I'm sure his speed will be almost the same, if not the same. And he will carry more power. It's a very real possibility that some will land. So how will Floyd cope? Beat the 10 count and spit balls of fire (like Naz predicted against Mosley)? Roll on the floor shouting no mas? War Khan!!! Honestly i feel that Floyd has a very good chin, and takes body shots even better. He also knows how to smother the left hook upstairs and downstairs. If he took a shot like that i wonder whether he would even go down...... People don't realise it, but Floyd is actually one tough SOB. Hatton's ex trainer Billy Graham actually said as much before the Mosley fight. He said people underestimate just how tough Floyd is and that Shane would be surprised when he got in the ring.

i think a more relevant question is: Can Khan even land a body shot on Floyd?

with body shots its all about where and how it lands, if it lands perfectly then i think even Paulie would put Floyd and most other boxers down. very rare to see such a well executed body punch.

Amir is right handed and Pac is left handed so what they would do to get around Floyd defense would be a bit different. Not to mention the size difference and overall style would also play a role in how they would try and deal with Floyd. So if you give Amir the plan he had for Manny he would fail just on the fact that is not what Khan does and beating a guy like Floyd not fighting your best way is hard to imagine. That also isn't giving Roach much credit since it assumes he would try to do something so foolish.
