Tommy Hearns. The Hitman, fighting in todays welterweight division who holds a candle to him. The Hearns going into the first Leonard fight?
Hearns kill them all!
probably just pac and floyd.
i like floyd's chances better than pac's.
though hearns would probably beat the snot out of floyd too.
unfair to compare pac and floyd against hearns.
pac and floyd are featherweights and lightweights who moved up to 147.
hearns started at 147 and was huge at 147 even by today's standards.
There isn't one damn fighter at 147 or 154 that could even go the distance 9 times out of 10 against Hearns. He would probably beat everyone at middleweight too.
He would beat anyone from 147-160,most likely by knockout,i cant even think of a fighter at those weights that i would even give a slim chance too

I hate it wen ppl use hearns and **** to bash pac or floyd your comparing a guy who started his career at a weight they are finishing there careers to put it another way why dont u talk about a hearns holyfield fantasy match you know since hearns finished there and holyfield started there or doesnt it suit your agenda.
I wish I was joking.
If Hearns were around both men would still be making 140 and saying that was their limit.
The thing that made those old school guys great was they didn't give a **** about wins and losses, they wanted to prove it in the ring.
For Any fighter to beat Hearns at welter, they needed a combination of pure skill and pure toughness, along with natural size like Leonard. You maybe at most, could count on one hand the amount of welters all time who could compete with the game he dished out. Manny and Floyd would just be way too small. He would eat them alive.
Haha! Top answer.

It'd be great if Hearns were around today.
Pac and Mayweather would fight each other so that they could mutually duck Hearns.
This question has been asked several times on this forum. Hearns would eat these mutherf*ckers alive. Not only would he beat every Welterweight but he would kick the **** out of Martinez at Middle and would top it off by winning the Super 6.
They just don't make fighters like Hearns, Leonard, Duran and Hagler any longer.
Once a teacher of mine told me I was born in the wrong generation because I was listening to a Woodie Guthrie record before football practice. I said "**** That, I shoulda been around when The Hitman was in his prime".
None of the WWs out there beat him IMO.
I'm hesitant to pick any WWs out there over a 1985 version of the Lone Star Cobra as well. Him against Pac or Floyd would be really interesting matchups.
he would make the best of today look like journeymen lol.
