What does Amir get for beating Zab? Nothing. Zab is past-prime and has done nothing at JWW in recent years, except losing to Matthyyse. Peterson is pretty much prime, losing to Bradley has affected him I think. But drawing with Ortiz isn't bad. At this moment in time; Peterson > Zab. So Peterson is a better fight for Khan. But I don't mind Zab fighting Khan as I like Zab, and he gets 1 more big payday (probably $400k+) before he retires.

you guys are seriously underestimating Petersons akward style. It wont suit Amir. I mean, I have no doubt that Amir is gonna beat him but it just wont be exciting, thats all. Waz, Khan will stop peterson. He wont worry about his punching power(but still he better sort his bloody defence out), so he will spend more time landing harder shots with his feet planted. Zab is more dangerous with his speed and uppercuts, but he would most probably get stopped as well.

Zab Judah would be nice although extremely dangerous. Judah has a good chance in the first 6 rounds to give Amir absolute hell.

Amir and Peterson are about the same height but Petersons reach is significantly bigger. Peterson would have a reach advantage but it wouldnt mean too much,he fights hunched and would give amir time too think and pick him off,i really couldnt see him being too much of a problem as long as amir stayed focused

With Peterson, he has a better chance to improve as a fighter, in the rankings and in general. He has the chance to outshine Ortiz and Bradley with a stoppage of Peterson, who can be dropped and he also has less risk in getting tagged and knocked out. Also, Judah in general doesn't matter much and he would have to pay him a bit more. Plus, Judah still has some speed and/or power. I'd go with Peterson and make it a spectacle.
