Malignaggi is a better name to have on your resume than Peterson or Holt:
Malignaggi:
- Former world-champion with 2 successful defense.
- Had a close fight with Cotto.
- Challenged Hatton for the lineal title at 140lbs.
- Notable wins over N'dou (x2), N'goudjo, and 2 wins over Juan Diaz.
Peterson:
- Former WBO-champion (0 defenses).
- No marquee wins on his resume.
Holt:
- Former WBO champion.
- Notable wins over Ricardo Torres, Demetrius Hopkins, David Diaz.
- Loses against Torres, Thomas Davis? wtf.
- Gone on to lose vs. Mabuza.
Therefore, Khan's win over Malignaggi (in Malignaggi's home-town) is better than Bradley's wins over Peterson and Holt.
Bradley's win over Witter is impressive, and was in the UK. But Witter was past-prime, but his win is better than Alexander's win over Witter.
Khan beat a prime-Kotelnik, dominated him infact for 12 rounds. Alexander LOST to Kotelnik, 8 rounds to 4 IMO. So Khan's resume is automatically better than Alexander's.
Khan's win over a prime-Maidana, who was in the shape of his life, is better than Bradley's wins over Witter and Miguel Vazquez. Bradley's win over Edner Cherry is unremarkable, Cherry had 5 losses prior to fighting Bradley, Bradley was supposed to beat Cherry. Khan at least gets some credit for KO'ing Salita. Salita and Cherry were both C-class fighters.
Maidana > Miguel Vazquez, past-prime Witter, and Edner Cherry.
Khan has great wins over Maidana and Kotelnik. And a good win over Malignaggi.
Bradley has good wins over Peterson, Holt, past-prime Witter, and Vazquez.
Khan's resume > Bradley's.
1) Khan
2) Bradley
3) Kotelnik
4) Alexander
Can't really argue with that, nicely put.
Don't care what anyone says there is no way Devon won his fight against Kotelnik
So if you think about it Kotelnik has a pretty good resume beating Devon and Maidana
1. Khan (Maidana, Kotelnik, Malignaggi, Salita)
2. Bradley (Holt, Peterson, Witter)
3. Alexander (Kotelnik, Witter, Urango)

The rankings don't matter so much at the moment because when its all said and done the winner of bradley/alex will fight khan, to determine the #1 at 140.
Pretty even id say. I think the win over Maidana puts Khan ahead though at the minute, as Madaina is defintely the most dangerous fighter out of all those opponents.
Witter was a threat when Bradley fought him, not when he fought Alexander. plus bradley beat him in his hometown.
It was a good win.
But is/was Witter better than Kotelnik? Many people believe Kotelnik was robbed in their fight. Was Witter even better than Malignaggi? Questionable.
