Cotto weighed one whole pound less than his previous fight. Clottey didn't have to cut weight. Margarito weighed three pounds more than the division he had fought at his whole career. Why doesnt he go back down to 140? Are there too many out of house fighters there? He only has to cut 4-6 pounds which is NOTHING. its still possible. pactards wanted floyd to meet marquez at 140.......and floyd is BIGGER than pac...so why cant pac go to 140? The Floyd fight actually took floyd's side there. Not that JMM was the best fight to take, but if JMM calls Floyd out JMM should go up to Floyd's weight not ask him to come down. Like I said earlier though I do think Pac can make 140 easily. I doubt he ever fights there though.

Not cutting weight is a big advantage going into a fight. Fighting at your true natural fighting weight and eating lots of calories while you are in camp has to be better for you. Rios dropping so much weight can't be good for you. Why was he so far off the mark before the fight?

Although I think Pac can easily make 140 your comparison between Rios and Pac is laughable. Because Rios is younger, beginning his career, and just getting recognition. Pac is 32 years old, retiring in 2 years, and a lot of accomplishments under his career.
