I thought paulie would out box him, khan destroyed him.
I thought maidana was gonna K.O him, khan wins and knocks maidana down twice
I thought khan had a terrible chin, khan took everything maidana had in the 10th and didn't go down.
Khan is legit. Blame it on the ref, but khan landed way more punches and nearly ended maidana in the 1st with a body shot.
Wazaa is still a *** though
Khan made fight harder
Did any see what I saw that Khan turned his back to Maidana in the 10th rd and then the referee got inbetween to break them up Gabe Montoya from Max Boxing mention this also, funny Victor Ortiz turn his back to Maidana in their fight Actually the fight should have been stopped by the ref because Amir went too long with firing anything back and if Cortzee hadn't stepped in to break them up when Khan turned his back 2 Maidana, Khan was not able to defend or protect himself. Also when Larry Merchant asked Maidana did he want a rematch he didn't see he wanted a rematch so that was a very rough fight for him also in Maidana corner they asked him if he wanted them to stop the fight.
Maidana's trainer was making his corner all wet and Maidana slipped 'cause of his trainer which tactics backfired
I agree, before Maidana would sit down he squeeze and throw the sponge, soaking the ring.
He thought with Khan jumping around the ring, he could get him to lose his footing, but it ended up taking Marcos down instead.
I too could see what Diaz was trying to do.
I just watched it again, the slip was in the 9th round. There was a shot Khan landed but it appears to me Maidana tripped when he stepped on Khans foot. The point I'm making is if Cortez was that corrupt and trying to help out Khan, why didn't he call that a knock down? Khan thought it was a kd after landing that shot and went to a neutral corner.
Why all the hype for Khan? He proved his chin is better than most thought it was, but also that he is not as elusive or skilled as he was made out to be.
He was ok during the first half of the fight then got worn down by Maidana and tired and his defensive skills and infighting are crap.

True but I thought he was a complete tomato can. He is in the mix at 140 now, to me.

I knew I wasnt the only one who caught it. It happened so quick, they didnt even show it on the replays. All I know is there was an exchange and maidana fell on his ass hard.
The problem is, the ref was on the other side of Maidana and I don't think he seen that upercut Khan landed.
That's because the so called corrupt ref who was supposedly on Khans side called it a slip but there was clearly a punch in there.

Who said he slipped? and What round did he 'slip'??
towards the end, he went down flat on his face. Some were saying it was a trip, or slip. I think it was a KD.
i didnt no maidana went down twice
