Was 140 cleared up at all?

Really, the only thing that became clear about the division is that Bradley really is the best fighter in this division, and it's not really close at all. Khan has the talent, but was Joe Cortez from getting KOed. If Cortez wasn't such an awful ref, Khan doesn't make it out of the tenth. That fight reminded me so much of Margarito-Cotto, it was scary. Khan certainly fought a very risky fight, and should have paid for it, but he showed he does not have anything close to a glass chin, it may not be the best but it's certainly decent to good now. And Maidana really surprised me, for all his limitations the guy is relentless and knows how to land his shots. He is every bit in the conversation and showed the Ortiz fight was no fluke. I know a lot of people will scream overrated about Ortiz, but if you do you are simply not giving Lamont Peterson the credit and respect he deserves. He was every bit in the conversation with Ortiz, Alexander, Khan, and Maidana before the loss to Bradley, and I thought this fight was more about Peterson proving he still belongs in that conversation than it was Ortiz being exposed. Very good weekend of fights, and I'm loving the situation at 140 right now. Hopefully we can get rematches of both the fights we saw

To me it just proved that Bradley is hands down the man of the division. It's really not close right now. Alexander would have to improve a LOT, so would Khan, and maybe they will but right now Bradley owns that division. Ortiz, Peterson, Maidana, and Kotelnik simply aren't capable of fighting on Bradley's level.

I thought Khan would easily beat the crude slugger Maidana. Khan looked awful, even chop chop Corley took less damage. Khan will lose a lot of fights in his prime for sure, he's not a whitaker, pacman or mayweather

Peterson has been so underrated since the Bradley loss, before the fight a lot of people had their money on Peterson if I remember correctly? I think Peterson has top notch skills just maybe not all the intangibles to be a big factor in the division.

Amir was too much trying to please the crowd. Amir could have made it alot easier for himself. I'm sure Freddie will address this issue and will make sure Amir doesn't do it again. Amir is a much better boxer than we saw on Saturday. i dont think amir is that good of a defensive boxer. i dont think he'll ever be. hes a boxer puncher. the thing is, hes doesnt have the power of a shane mosely. he needs to learn better head movement if he wants to make it to the top. just a thought.

yeah a little bit.. peterson gave ortiz a lot of trouble even though he's not that good himself, and ortiz, I dunno has a lot of potential but he's just not there yet to be considered a truly elite fighter. I think Khan showed weakness in heart, and Maidana showed weakness in being vulnerable against a boxer who has a lot of movement and speed. Can't wait to see Bradley and Alexander peterson is a lot better than u give him credit for. hes a legit power in the 140lb division.

I agree Wazaa, Khan's a better boxer than he showed vs. Maidana. And a weak heart? Whatever, Khan has one of the best hearts in boxing after that performance. Maidana and Margarito have the best hearts though.

Still, Maidana was relentless, and no matter how Khan fought it wouldn't have been easy.
