Just like Froch is surpassing Calzaghe's resume at 168, how long until Khan can say he has a better resume than Hatton?
Khan 140 wins:
Kotelnik - UD 12
Salita - TKO 1
Malignaggi - TKO 11
Maidana - UD 12
Hatton notable 140 wins:
Tszyu - RTD 11
Maussa - KO 9
Urango - UD 12
Castillo - TKO 4
Malignaggi - TKO 11
Would a win over the Bradley v Alexander winner do it?
He has definitely surpassed Hatton in knockdowns with 5 career knockdowns by age 24. Hatton was down for the first time in his early 20's but was never knocked down again until he fought Mayweather, I believe.
Lol but all jokes aside. Don't count your chickens before they hatch. Hatton's win over Tszyu trumps Khan's best win so far and by far which is Maidana. And you can't speak too soon, you don't know if Khan loses his next fight.
We'll see, I like Khan, so I hope the best for him. He showed a lot of heart and there was no quit in him last night he also has really good boxing skills and fast hands. Needs to work on his defense because I think he gets hit too much.
Right now Hatton has the better resume at 140. If Khan fights and beats Judah in april then beats the Bradley Alexander winner then he will have a better resume at 140. GBP will probably match him agaisnt Ortiz if he were to win that fight also. So i think right now he doesnt but in the future he msot likely will.
salita = castillo (shot)
Can't agree with that one. Salita is dog shít. Castillo wasn't as shot as people made out, he was 32 which isn't that old and since losing to Mayweather for the second time, going into the Hatton fight with a record of 9-1, including wins of Diego Coralles, Joel Casamayor, Juan Lazscano, Julio Diaz and undefeated Ngoudjo. With his only loss in those fights coming from the first Corrales fight. Past his best, sure, but not completely power puff.
It's a much better win than Salita who had literally beaten nobody and looks like he was a tramp picked up from the street and offered a sandwich to put on some boxing gloves and stand in the ring for a few second
He needs the lineal title, which I guess would come with a win over Bradley/Alexander winner, then a respectable win at 147 to be on a par.
Who knows, perhaps a fight with Hatton could be on the cards in the future?
Froch is moving above Calzaghe's resume by losing to people that Calzaghe comfortably beat when his opponent was closer to his prime?
Pascal
Taylor
Dirrell
Kessler
Abraham
TBC Glen Johnson
TBC Andre Ward
You tell me when Calzaghe ever faced a run of fights as tough as that? His toughest run was Kessler-Hopkins, which was preceded by Peter fúcking Manfredo Jr and then a completely shot RJJ.
Froch lost closely to Kessler, but his other 4 recent wins more than make up for it. And whilst Calzaghe will always remain the better fighter out of the two for me, his resume is píss weak and Froch's is getting better all the time.
Look at it like this, Calz coming out fight was against Lacy, a guy who lost yesterday to a guy with a record of 23-19. Froch's coming out fight was against Jean Pascal, now Light Heavyweight Champion of the world. A resume looks even stronger when the guys you beat go on to win big fights and win titles, how many of Joe's big wins have done so? Kessler? Hopkins?
In terms of opposition Froch has undoubtedly fought tougher and is continuing to do so.

does the winner of bradley/alexander a better win than tszyu? if you think tszyu was shot by the time hatton got him then you could arguably say yes to that question.
however, if you don't think tszyu is shot, then the winner of tim/devon is not as big a win as tszyu, in which case khan would have to beat ortiz and/or lamont for khan to have a better 140 lbs resume than hatton.
