Khan is the truth. Survived numerous flush punches from one of the hardest punchers in the game. No one at 140 can see him.

First time I saw that. I think he was hurt pretty damn bad. He's a lot tougher than people thought, though for sure. Watching it again, I don't think he was as badly hurt as I thought at the time. He took a lot of big shots and took them well, and eventually started throwing back. He looked more fatigued than anything at the end of the round and if I remember correctly he won the 11th round. He took some wicked shots and is a warrior for getting through that. What an epic, epic fight tho.

r u kidding me? Khan turned his back on Maidana. Maidana was right in the midst of throwing a hook to Khan's jaw from behind him. U turn ur back on a fight. ur not protecting urself. it isn't the ref's job to step in to let u protect urself. just as if someone gets KDed if they duck into a hook and the punch hit the back of their head. It isn't the aggressor's fault if u put urself in the vulnerable position. period. actually,. from the looks of it, maidana is the one who prompted to step around to khans back throwing his rabbit punches and yes, in most fights, the ref will usually halt the action if one fighters back is facing the other fighter, that's all refs, cortez' main problem is breaking clinches where work is being done, but u can't blame him there as most refs would have done the same thing

He took some real heavy shots in that round, not bad for someone with a supposed glass jaw. Khan showed true heart and determination.
