Khan is very talented but, if he ever fights a pressure fighter that can bang then he will certainly face another knockout.... He barely escaped last night... He,s truly fast but his chin will be the end of him... Reply,s...
I think the winner of Bradley-Alexander for Khan.
Khan looks amazing against boxers which Alexander is and Bradley is a pressure fighter with boxing ability and little power.
I think he'd beat both of them, Ortiz is a harder fight for Khan because of the styles, he hits very hard and accurately even though he has defensive and mental deficiencies.
That,s why roy was saying that,s it khan hit and move hit and move... I know that,s what you suppose to do but, i got the feeling even roy was willing khan to run and run fast... He escaped a big lost yesterday... Will see what,s next for khan... Maybe another malignaggi...if that,s how u spell his name...
some of you dudes are really dumb. The guy was getting hit by one of boxing's biggest punchers p4p and he dealt with it a lot better than he has in the past. His chin is fine now. its pretty clear him fighting at lightweight hurt him in that department.
stop hating. He's boxing's next superstar.
And for the record, I'm not even a fanboy of his.
I think khan was lucky enough to be at the top at the right time when all the big bangers have left. Image if he came in when hatton, tszyu, gotti, Mayweather, Torres, Cotto where all on top. Khan would never survie that era of 140lbs hatton, tszyu and cotto would murked him.
It possibly could.
The move up has helped his resistance, but I don't think he'll ever have a good or above average chin (until proven otherwise, of course).
He can help this by improving his leaky defense and developing an inside game (and how to defend on the inside specifically), which he really lacks. He's a largely long range fighter at this point.
Khan has a bit of the JML vibe IMO. Skilled and talented, but vulnerable and seemingly chinny, which leads to exciting and dramatic fights. I look forward to their next fights because of it.
No. His defense will let him in the future, plus he gets far to careless in the later rounds. Khan lacks discipline to box for 12 rounds, he gets drawn into things he doesn't need to get involved in. Khan will get exploited again.
And the pressure fighter that hits harder than Maidana is ............
Going into last nights fight, everyone knew certain things. They knew Maidana can bang harder than anyone else @140, they knew Khan was very fast and had talent.
What they didn't know was can Khan take Maidanas punches? Many people doubted it, but he did.
So the question remains the first line of this post.....
victor Ortiz? Devon Alexander would have had him out or at least force the ref to stop the fight I was sure the fight was over at the 10th honestly couldn't believe Maidana couldn't catch up to a wobbly and dazed Khan
how fucking slow can you be
So imagine him getting hurt at 140 and say going up to 147 where the harder punchers are... He won,t survive against some of the best w.w....
147 would be fine for him, he's big and would fit well in that class, not many people will be bigger, and his chin will improve with the move up
And the pressure fighter that hits harder than Maidana is ............
This.
Khan has amazing heart and his punch resistance is only going to improve as he moves up in weight and as his defense improves because he'll be riding the punches better and won't get hit as much anyway.
