The look of agony on his face was a very unique sight to see. It was like a monster in a film, realising he simply had been hurt and had to go down. But the way he got up and battled through it was incredible, full credit to him. Many other guys would have stayed down from that, and it would have been hurting him throughout the fight too, and he remained undeterred.

The fight was almost over in the first, and to think we might've had a candidate for fight of the year is amazing. Maidana always had a puncher's chance and it is astonishing how he kept moving forward and stalking Khan throughout the remainder of the fight. What a warrior! Congrats to Khan too for showing he can take a punch and for his heart!

It was a great moment watching him jump up to his feet like that. You could tell it was killing him. Even after he was up he doubled over in pain again.
