Marcos Maidana is clearly overrated!

The person who says that a top 5 fighter in probably the most competitive weight class in boxing is over-rated has probably never boxed a day in their life. I'm sure you could step in the ring and decisively beat Marcos Maidana, right?

Hmm. If Maidana's bar of being overrated could be compared to a two story building, Khan would be the Eiffel Tower, and then some more. Khan also went life or death with Maidana, so that doesn't say much for him. That said, Maidana isn't overrated at all. He's working with what he has and he's done well.

Maidana is not overrated, as most people acknowledge that he is a big puncher, but limited fighter with to begin with. Khan outclassed him through the majority of the fight, but he also got hurt by Maidana. I find it interesting that most people actually predicted that fight close to accurate. Abraham on the otherhand is overrated. Before he fought Dirrell and Froch, a lot of fans praised Abraham and considered him a top p4p fighter. Ironically, Abraham got exposed by an underrated fighter in Froch.

Dhude only gameplan was to aim for chin. Thats it. Couldnt box with Amir and his only hope was to land a big shot and wobble his legs. I dont think Maidana is overated because people mostly only were in awe of his power, so if anything he showed he was underated as a boxer in general. But i dont like some of the things he said like he thought he won, only on the basis it seemed he was only one punch from fiishing Khan. But Khan was only one punch from finishing Maidana. And khan never went down so talk about stopping the fight in the 10th seems premature. Give Khan credit for his grittyness. To have stopped it just cos khan chose to take most of the punches Maidana landed in the 10th is khans choice.

Overrated? Whatever. He makes fights exciting and interesting. He deserves a rematch or shot at another big name. He barely lost that fight at the end, if he had bettter stamina he may have won. but if i had mike tysons speed and george foremans power and ali's foot work id be the best ever...................U DIG:nonono:
