This is definitely Khan's night. He is the clear winner here. He needs some improvements though. He doesn't counter much. He just back pedals most of the time with very rare counters. His moments of prominence is only during offense when he throws 3 to 4 combos.
Maidana moves in terrribly slow at times and Khan couldn't take advantage of it. Instead, he covers his face with both hands and freezes in that position for 3 to 5 seconds and allows himself to be bombarded with punches.
He has an absurb high rate of on/off switches from the game plan. I hope he doesn't fight either Pac or Floyd in the near future. His defensive skills is lacking.
If he learns defense and counters, he can become a great champion. He got speed.
My opinion.
lol'ing at your sig. The fact that you have to include Joakim Noah as one of the best players on your team is one of the many reasons the Bulls won't make it to the Eastern Conference Championship.
15 points, and 12 rebounds with 2 assists is bad?
Remind me of what the 2010 version of Kevin Garnett averages. Or Andrew Bynum's career highs, Al Horford's career highs, etc... Compare him statistically to any center in the East besides Dwight Howard. A Top 5 player at his position this year is what you get. What's wrong with that? Hell he lit the Celtics up in Boston, until he tried to do too much at the end.
I think Khan should fight one more fight at 140. It should be the winner of Bradley/Alexander. Winner of that fight becomes P4P #2 and should get a huge payday vs Pacquiao. I know Pacquiao and Khan are homies but it would be the biggest fight of the year and the fans are gonna want to see it.
lol above Floyd, Manny or Martinez?
Silence, idiot.

khan was ktfo by a journeyman prescott.

For months people are begging Khan to test himself against Maidana. Khan does so, and he still gets no respect. The man is still developing. People need to cut him some slack. He's a damned good fighter with a brilliant style. He still has some honing to do, but can you imagine when he gets to his late 20's? Whoa! He will be outstanding!
Khan would have gotten credit, if he didn't credit himself soooo much.
Khan looked bad. His conditioning isn't where it needs to be. Against a guy like Maidana who he was popping at will he should have been able to finish strong. Instead he was looking for an oxygen tank.
Does he have promise? Of course he does. Is he ready for an elite fighter? Yeah for the elite fighter to have him for breakfast.
Khan isn't getting too far with that chin. He won't be fighting Bradley or a rematch with Maidana anytime soon. I bet Roach almost had a heartattack, so much for his "prediction" :lol1:.
A legitimate top guy?

all butt hurt latinos forget how their hero Juanma was fighting for his life against a journey man, at least Khan was put to the test against a legitimate top guy

Again is this threat a joke? SMH
Nahh, I just think a lot of people r letting the last 3 rounds get to their heads. Lets take into mind no one in the entire division (aside from Ortiz, and that's a maybe) hits/fights like Maidana. I'm not even a Khan fan.

this is why Khan get so much hate because of stupid fans who start post like this lol
he didn't look "GREAT" but he looked good EARLY in the fight but was running for his life late in the fight but overall he did enough to WIN
does that performance moves him above Bradley...NO but it keeps him strongly at #2, I have to see how Alexander vs Bradley goes
Khan did well, but still has a lot to work on. His speed and offense
could very well carry him to beat the rest of the 140 pounders.
But he showed there's still a big gap between him and PBF/PAC.
He should stay far away from those two.
Khan's defense still sucks. His head movement hasn't improved that
much. He has no counter punching abilities and fights dumb in spots.
Maidana was wild and wide open. I like Khan, he showed heart
tonight, but he should've shined brighter against this wild brawler.
? Maidana looked as good as when he entered the ring. What fight where you watching? Khan looked beat up with his nose all swollen.
in boxing, the winner is not the one that looks nicest in the face after 12rds..what the heck did Maidana do on the canvas crying like a baby in the 1st rd?He was saved by the bell in that rd u butt hurt idiot
