losing to floyd mayweather doesnt expose you as a myth. marquez got shutout as well not beat up like gatti but floyd beat up chico and bunch of others who were champions and goo fighters. he jsut makes everyone look bad. mosley wasnt a myth. gatti was outclassed by floyd. michael is no floyd. idk maybe you were being sarcastic My thoughts exactly, Gatti was a good fighter and a real hardman, Floyd just happens to be a GREAT fighter.

I LOVE Katsidis. But Gatti was imo a harder puncher and had the better chin and was more durable all round. Then again Kats can hurt whoever he can hit and lets be honest Arturo was no Willy Pep! Plus Gatti threw wide and wild while Mike throws short tight hooks that should land first. Sheeeet who knows! What i DO know is it would be one Hell of a FIGHT! :boxing:

gatti at his best would win both were great warriors tons of heart. but gatti had a good jab his weakness was against guys bigger and better than him other warriors he could outbox and bang mix it up. i say he wins and possibly stop michael late in an amazing fight

Exposed by Mayweather at 33 AFTER 14 YEARS of fighting top fighters and being in 4 FIGHT OF THE YEARS.Katsidis doesn't have Gattis chin and Katsisdis has a TERRIBLE right hand it looks like hes throwing a baseball.I again would favor the 21-31 year old Gatti,but when Mcgirt came along he no longer used his power and chin to put pressure ,he started trying to be a defensive fighter. thank god he ALWAYS had his power to bail him out

katsidis is easy to hit and gatti was a muderous body puncher terrible style for katsidis (gatti was a brawler but he could also move and use his athletic talents and had a good jab) styles make fights. they would meet in the center of the ring and gatti would stop him in an absolute classic

I think pre Mcgirt Gatti would have DOMINATED Katsidis-when Mcgirt came along Gatti started fighting on his back foot more becoming almost a counterpuncher.That version could go either way.Gatti was at his best at 23,24,25,but he fought elites throughout his whole 16 year carrear,except the last fight.Katsidis ONLY started fighting name fighters when the 38 year old Casamayor kod him about 2years ago.Gatti fought a prime 29 year old Oscar and a prime 28 year old floyd at the TAIL end of his carrear.

In a bloody war, I would pick Gatti by late round TKO, while the fight is even on the cards. Both have similar assets in my eyes, but I think Gatti's chin was better.
