Sergio Martinez Pacquaio Only Fights DeadMen

I liked Martinez before, he's either trying too hard to get a big payday or he's just a jerk-off. Either way, he should cut the crap. His biggest accomplishments are 1-1 against P. So, why is Pac ducking Sergio? Let's get it on. i havent heard pac say he wouldnt fight Maravilla, and for him to be ducking Sergio, thats what he would have to come out and say. If they do fight, i say let it be at 154 or no fight, cause its right in between both fighters weight classes ,since pac is moving down to 147 and sergio is staying at 160.

No problem should have a problem with that. He should go for it I agree, and even though I don't think none of those high profile fighters will fight him. I hope that I am wrong and one of them decides to step up to the plate. My issue now is with some these Floyd dickriders who are in here saying Martinez speaks the truth Pac fought a shot Cotto but yet Martinez wants to fight Cotto. There is nothing wrong with that because I don't think Cotto is shot but I don't think Cotto can win a round against Martinez. But, how can you applaud him for saying what he said about Cotto but then turn a blind eye for him wanting to fight Cotto? Because, he is more negative towards your favorite fighter main rival right now? Again no problem with him going for the high profile fight. My issue is if you can't get them then take on the best possible opponent. Legit threats who are willing to fight you, don't ignore them and then have negotiations with lesser fighters. I gotta admit that I don't like the way Dibella and Martinez have shrugged off Dzinziruk and Pirog. It is also hypocritical to bash Pac for fighting Cotto and not bash Martinez for it. I just don't like the fact that a rematch between Manny and Cotto was ever discussed.

That was a blanket statement about Pacquiao's opponents since Marquez, but specifying on Cotto he said que taba chocado. Cotto was coming off 3 out of 4 fights where he took 200+ power punches and still had to come down to 145, so he's not wrong in that. Dzinzurik and Pirog are the 8th ranked Jr. Middleweight and Middleweight, respectively, are you saying Martinez should find out who they are and choose to fight them, even though they're ranked 8th in the division and wouldn't make him as much money as Lee because they are much better? Ridiculous... Other respectable rankings has Dzinziruk #1 as a JMW, while Pirog at #7. You won't find a respectable ranking that has Duddy in the top 10. And, I have no problem if it was Duddy as a tune up to a possible Pirog or Dzinziruk showdown in the summer. But, they not even looking at that as a possibility. Clottey's better than the nonstop holding Mosley at this point, so when should the rematch be set... I don't know how Clottey can be considered better than Shane. But, instead of Shane you damn right that Bradley if he wins at 140 should be set, or JMM at 135 should be set, or Berto at 147 should be set. Not no fucking Mosley.

What I imagine is that Arum, Roach and Trampler sit down and formulate, and then tell Manny: Fighter A is a relatively easy win. You would be guaranteed $7 million with a possible total of 13 million Fighter B is a big guy, and less well known. He is also fast and poses stylistic problems. You may get $5-8 million for that fight Fighter C is an easy fight if you box, but he hits hard so there's some risk. Nobody knows him, and you would get $5-7 million.

My personal issue with the Cotto fight has always been the weight. A little bit with the timing, but mostly with the weight. Paclanders say that "it was ONLY two pounds". Well, if the two pounds were insignificant, why did Manny INSIST on them? I remember when Figueroa came on LEFTY's show and Figueroa spoke about making weight saying (Don't remember word for word) "When it comes to losing the last 2-3 pounds...those 2-3 pounds are a mother fucker to get rid of". Thats why I never understood when people say "It's only 2 pounds!".

If P-Will would of fought Martinez at 160 and not 158 would the out come have changed? I don't think so... From the reports I got when Cotto weighed 146 against Clottey in the fight prior he was laughing it up after the weigh-in. While Clottey who weighed 147 was drinking gallons of water. To me that proves who had more problems making 147. I don't think Cotto was drained or had that much trouble making 145. The Margarito catch-weight crap was BS. The other Cotto fight legit in my book.
