I agree. While I leave room for the possibility that Pacquiao felt the punch more than his body language indicated at the time, I highly doubt he was that affected by margaresto's vaunted 'power'. More like Pacquiao was just throwing old cheato a bone by enticing him to think he accomplished something in the bout. The only reason he might have felt one of those punches along the ropes is because margaresto used a huge arc with that left hand, but I do not remember him leaning into it or torquing his body to add something to it...it looked like a wide arm punch. 2 days after that fight, I asked a friend who was with Manny at that time his true condition... the answer was an emphatic " he is in bad shape". I also noticed he was not in his usual jolly self in all interviews several days after the fight. Even mediamen in his country noticed this as well. I have no doubt he got hurt in that fight. He even said to his corner he wont fight that way again (higher than 147). That fight conviced him that his weight climbing exploits is over at 147.
