Is Donaire ready for featherweight?.

Yes, I believe Donaire is ready for the division and just started a thread last week wondering if he had aspirations to move up. Donaire will clean up the featherweight division with his speed. People are all over Juanma but I believe that Donaire's skillset and speed would handle Juanma his first defeat fairly easily. Donaire will have to move up to gain worldwide recognition and earn big paydays, as below 126 nobody really cares about you. I think he can be competitive in Featherweight.But at the same time I think he will be hitting a brick wall on Juanma at the moment.He's not ripe yet to do a very hard battle on Juanma.

I would like to read your analysis, I like Montiel but I can't be sure who's going to win. At least not as sure as you seem to be I think I explained it in one of the threads somewhere,i'll look it up and respond to you and Sir Tom Jones.

well, that is true....but dont you want donaire to get belts in each divsion as he moves up, im pretty sure you do.....imagine if pac fought for titles at 115 and 118, he would be a 10 div champion now....i think donaire is doing the right thing.....:boxing: Of course we want him to take a belt on the way up.But he should do it soon.

He needs to get belts on the way............The featherweight class can wait. yes, there's a lot of action at 118, but he can go up to fw if he wanted to. too much action at 118 right now and those dudes at 126 are cherry picking like a mub right now.

Why skip 122 when Donaire vs Nishioka would be a tremendous fight?

IMHO not just yet, he should first get pass Montiel then close batam by fighting the tournament winner, after that he can move a step up to 122 ... Nonito should forget about Darchinyan....He will lose to Mares.Donaire can go farther than wishing a rematch with someone who's avoiding him....

Hell yeah, it's time for him to move his big ass up in weight. Beating up all these small guys is getting old, even though he does it very impressive indeed.
