If you could put money on one prospect to have the best career and sell tickets and PPV's which one would you invest in?
Jose Benavidez Jr.
Saul Alvarez
Frankie Gomez
Omar Henry
Jamie Kavanagh
Or any other prospect you can think of?
Holy ****. Dude might be better than his brother. Better reflexes and just as much power. No? Maybe? Perhaps.
I like this dude though, so he gets my vote. Otherwise I vote for myself.
Yeah i never seen that shit where a relative fights exactly like their sibling. Hopefully he aint high off that shit like his brother was.
guys your all missing one guy out he aint obviously been tested only one fight professionally available but for raw talent just like his bros luis valero i reckon is going to be a force in boxing he is ruthless like his bros if i had to back anyone it would be him watch out for him on 10th December he is hungry and got alot to prove.
Really? I don't. I said this before but I don't see anything special about him.
Its just his accuracy and his Timing. and knowing the right punches to throw at the right time, Hes so young and already I see him looking like Alexis Arguello but with a little more speed. I hope he really turns out.
Hopefully he gets to prove you wrong but only time will tell.
Its easily Benevidez Jr for me. I see pound for pound #1 talent in this young gun

Luis Valero (Younger brother of the late Edwin Valero, RIP)

I think that Erislandy Lara, Frankie Gomez, and Benevidez are the prospects with the most upside. They are all Hispanic and HBO loves to promote future Hispanic stars. The tried to do it with Ortiz until the Maidana fight and they will pick it up with one of these guys. I'd say Gomez is going to be the one they hype up because he has the Mexican street, cool-guy image. Benevidez looks too "geekish" for them to promote they way they want to- as the next ODLH. They could promote Lara as the next Gamboa as long as Gamboa keeps winning.
There are a lot of great prospects out there but they ones to make it are going to be the ones that can win and make money by having fans. They have to look the part, be able to speak decent English, and have a good personality. HBO plays demographic games and they will pick either a Hispanic or African American boxer with a childhood tragedy or broken home story to go along with the package.
that sh!t backfired on them real bad. They didn't do any research at all. Now they throw Khan in there too.

Saul Alvares is VERY marketable. So is WV2. I thought Mike Jones was gonna be somebody but ended up VERY disappointed with his last performance and ever though he's been around for a while, I would invest in Donaire because he will fill the gap when Pac is gone. On the other side and same story, Khan.
benevidez, have you seen im spar with pac?
Yeah I was thinking the same those punches were so powerful and so accurate I was blown away and he was only 17. He has scary potential.

Benavidez - His talent is outrageous, and his jab is super. He's training with the right guy too. Obviously he hasn't been tested at all yet, but he's been kept busy with I think 9 fights in his first year as a professional. He's also a very well spoken guy that borders on nerdy sort of. We'll see how he does in the next year, but the signs are very encouraging.
Also DeGale, well If he impressively gets by Paul Smith as he did in his last fight, then wow. It takes some balls to take a fight like that so early in his career anyway, win or lose.
