Wasn't slated to be on ShoBox. Non-televised undercard.
Something tells me you'll be going to Alexander-Bradley...
Yeah if it stays in Pontiac I will be there for sure.
Couple with going to Vegas for next weekends fights I have the 140lb division on lock down.
If Holt had the option to fight on ShoBox and did not all I can do is thank him.
He's one of a small group of fighters that I never ever want to see on TV again.

I like how you're an idiot and are a bigger fan of MMA than Boxing.
Your analysis of this, as with everything else, is way off.
Let's return to the questions you've avoided:
Have you ever seen Narvaez fight? Did you watch Harris-Narvez? Are you basing your analysis largely off what you read on BoxRec?
He is one, and whats so special about Vivian Harris who has been stopped 4 out of his 5 losses? Harris ended up stopping Narvaez the tomato can.
Having seen Narvaez fight on more than one occasion – on television and in person – I'm comfortable saying Narvaez can be a tough out.
It must be so comforting making blanket statements and using revisionist history to describe fighters.
You even watch Harris-Narvaez, or do you base all of your analysis off BoxRec?
Vivian Harris has a questionable chin. I'd pick you to floor him if you can hit him.
Narvaez, interestingly, came in far overweight for that fight.
I'm just saying that it's not fair to describe Narvaez as a tomato can.
Are our memories really that short?
Manny Pacquiao, weigh-in: 144 pounds.
Antonio Margarito, weigh-in: 150 pounds
Manny Pacquiao, fight night: 148 pounds
Antonio Margarito, fight night: 165 pounds
Granted, the situations are different. Holt wasn't giving up a huge, huge payday. But he also wasn't facing an opponent on his level.
Co-sign.
Margarito met the terms of the contract. Holt's cabdriver did not.
exactly!
they were schedule to fight around the welter weight limit and holts opponent came over and then on fight night weighed 162lb!
even thou the guy is a journey men holt is chinny its not a smart risk to take on a guy that weighs 162lb on fight night no matter what record the guy has

It was a dumb reason to lose a payday against an opponent he most likely would have blown out, and I say that as a fan of Holt and a guy who wants to see him get his career back on track.

....so does anyone actually know what Dan said that was so insulting? and I mean specific words?
I mean, Holt not fighting someone that was meant to be a sacrificial lamb anyway seems like a pointless career move. I understand that the guy weighed 162 on fight night, but who cares, it happens. Ive seen guys rehydrate a lot more than that overnight....
If the guy didnt make the weight in the first place then Holt had the option of just saying 'Im not fighting you' then and there. to change his mind because of a rehydrate thing is kind of silly, especially when you only called the guy in to get a guarenteed win anyway....
...unless Im getting this wrong and youre telling me he came in at 162lbs on the weigh in day for a Welterweight limit fight..?
im sorry, but kendall holt is 100 percet correct and anyone who disagrees knows nothing about boxing
how the hell did da rafael get his job anyway
Well if u know boxing,U would know fighters here and there come overweight.
I understand why he choose not to fight him,But he was facing a damn bum.
For that reply to work at all, you have to be able to spell genius my dude.
Haha!
U got me there genius. Unfortunately, thats the limit of your intellect.
All this to say what a disappointment Kendall Holt has become. I remember a while ago when Dougie Fischer thought that Holt could give Pacquiao trouble at 140. Now the dude won't fight a 7-9-1 opponent. "I don't back down, I lay backs down!"
Wat a genious u r. :nonono:
