What? They're fighting in Vegas.
Just wanted to clarify my earlier post. As per Dan Rafeal at ESPN the site for this fight is in US but they haven't decided what city yet. I like you hope it will not be in Oakland.
its really dumb for him to do that since he leads the tourney right now...i think it should be in a neutral ground (atleast not in cali)but i just dont see AA winning no matter what.....
The rules book of the Super 6 calls for an Eastcoast-doubleheader setting...so I would guess that AC's Boardwalk Hall would be a no-brainer as well as LV (though not being on the Eastcoast but generally ragrded as the home of commercial boxing).
Promotional-wise it would be dumb to split up on the semis and to add different timezones to that.
Let them winners step up for a stairdown right after the second fight to end the night --- good 'ol WWE sh!t that always attracts the masses...
Agree, although if the semis are to be in Vegas they should stick to that.
There is no way in hell Ward fights Abraham in Germany.
Lol yes, both of these are valid points.
Also, Larryx.... why would Abraham drop out? He's at the lowest point of his career... two loses with the second being extremely one sided. He now has a shot at the WBA title and a shot to get to the final of the SuperSix....why on earth would he drop out?
This should take place in Germany.... Abraham has had only one fight there and Ward has had two fights in literally his backyard.
This would square things up perfectly with two at home, and one away in Europe/America for each fighter... Abraham will still be a huge draw in Germany (think 30,000 in a stadium) despite his defeat to Froch (and Dirrell).
However, supposing it is the Semi-finals maybe somewhere on the East Coat should be considered...Although not sure what the crowds would be like.
Expect Ward to kick up a fuss though and demand home refs, judges, crowd etc.

A Semi Final bout in Oakland would be a travesty for this tournament, so heavily favoring one guy.. who just happens be an American in an American made tournament.
But you never know with the corrupt and shady Dan Goossen, he might try and get the final in Oakland. :lol1:
Showtime SuperSix contract is signed and sealed. Semi final bouts are to take place in Vegas. And I actually think Abraham might drop out.
I heard Froch Johnson was gonna be in Nottingham?
It's always baffling at this stage when a fight is announced. Vegas would be great though, I am yet to go there and a trip over to see Froch would be a must.

Cheers bro. I hope neither fighter drops out, the tournament needs this to go ahead.
I also think that Abraham, Froch and Ward were three of the best fighters in the tournament, I think Kessler was the fourth but he's injured, so it's a strong end to the tournament.
abraham is coming off of 2 loses...hes has no pull what so ever..if anything arthur will drop out
I'm interested to see whether Ward will actually have the guts to fight outside his home town. I also like Abraham's style v Ward, I think he'll catch him on the inside.
