I have HBO currently but I've been giving thought to switching to Showtime. I won't pay for both at this point, although maybe next year the extra money wouldn't bother me.
Showtime needs to put there fights On Demand or something because they have the whackest movies out of the 4 i have which is HBO, STARS, ENCORE, and SHOWTIME. well i have showtime free for 3 months. But i did have Showtime in the past and i wish they would have fights and build ups/greatest hits On Demand like HBO does which is the shizzle.
stars and encore are the only movie channels with good movies. hbo shows the same movies for 6 months straight.
Do many of you have HBO and Showtime for Boxing?
it's the only reason why i have hbo and showtime, if it weren't for boxing, i'd have none of the above..................

I subscribe to both HBO and Showtime, and they BOTH have On Demand...
Same here.Coverage of boxing within the United Kingdom is just awful.Sky Sports are the only one's who consistently put out boxing - and their product is just bad.I personally don't care to watch a bunch of domestic stiffs, who have little chance of ever stepping beyond their current level and succeeding.
To be fair to Sky their coverage this year has been a vast improvement. The domestic product is what it is and Sky cover this every week and we've done fairly good on their non PPV events this year also. Sky are certainly more committed to boxing, we also have the Ringside programme which is not bad. I've like the effort from Sky this year, can't complain. Fair enough the presentation might not have the sparkle of the American broadcasters but they are doing their bit to make boxing more accessible to your casual fan.
U.K needs to have hbo and showtime on just for the boxing.
staying up till 3,4 or even 5 in the morning to watch fights on a laptop isnt the best thing to do every weekend.
need me a decent ass tv to hook up the laptop to the tv.Or just move my ass to the US of A.
Yup! Thats the main reason i have both. Although they both have pretty good original series to watch. But, boxing is why i spend the little bit of cash i have.
