Thats only becuz he was fighting 2 guys that he had to bully. Other than sticking the jab periodically here and there, how else do u expect him to beat Bika? And for Green, Ward took away all his abilities by fighting that way. Against Kessler he showed multiple styles. Against Miranda he showed multiple styles. Only against Green and Bika did he look like a dirty infighter the whole time. Lets see how he fights Abraham before we declare that his normal fighting style. He would be dumb to try and fight Abraham like that the whole time, so lets see if he does.
i'll just focus on bika...a lot of people felt (myself included) that he fought the incorrect strategy against bika...felt he made the bika fight harder than it should have been....i felt he should have outclassed bika easy by boxing from the outside...he fought bika's fight, and his hometown ref made sure bika didn't fight his fight...
i didn't exactly say ward's style is "garbage", but looking at his last two fights, it looks like he's headed in that direction.....
i don't like the direction they are going with ward's development though...at first imo he was a solid boxer-puncher that put me in the mindframe of hagler, but lately he's just charging in headfirst like you said...

I've nothing to add, other then "Son of Bernard" is brilliant :biggthump
one thing i can say so far, at least sob isn't calling out welters, jr. middles, and middles....
Ward clearly proved he's the better overall fighter. Kessler just couldn't deal with the movement, with the jab, and with the pace of Ward and at this point, Kessler is deteriorating while Ward is peaking. They can fight anywhere now and Ward will win. Sorry.
No need to apologize. Your opinion is perfectly legit. I gave my reasons as to why the first fight ended like it did. You dont think my points carry any weight and that's ok.
I would also like to see Ward fight outside of his hometown, He does lead with his head but i wouldnt call him "Dirty"...
i think the consensus is ward uses dirty tactics and really doesn't get reprimanded enough by the oakland refs...thats why a lot of people want to see him fight outside of oakland...minus his personal officiating entourage of course
Make a case for Kessler winning. Don't include refs and judging and all that just a fight analysis.
If Kessler gets more than 2 weeks of training. Has 20/20 vision and doesnt get fouled unpunished he'll win. Kessler complained to his corner that he couldnt see from the third or fourth round due to those butts.
Believe me these points had an impact on his performance. And then you have Ward facing a hostile crowd nine timezones away. Not easy.
I think he tweeted that he was back in the gym some time ago.
I wonder if Showtime fines his pockets dry for breach of conract?
Why cant he fight if he's back in the gym? Am sure he can in the next 4 months or so. Showtime should make sure he isnt fighting outside of the showtime until the tourney is over.
Ward is a dirty fighter. A referee biased against him or even a netral referee will unphaze him. You see the leading with head bit and the holding is integrated in Wards style and if he doesn't get preferential treatment we will get the chance to see what he is really made of.
And I have seen plenty of instances where cautions would be in order and also instances where he should have had a points deduction.
in the bika fight ward did some early complaining and bika wasn't able to fight his fight all night...on the other hand, ward was able to freely lead with his head and headbutt all fight...even opened a gash on bika...kessler complained about the same thing
No he is not a dirty fighter. Nehomar Cermeno now that is a dirty fighter, Eusebio Pedroza was a dirty fighter. Ward is rough fighter on the inside but not dirty.
To act like he needs help from the refs or whatever to win is ridiculous.
Like I said never once seen a Ward fight where I felt he lost or deserve to lose.
When you continue to do something illegal as an integrated part of your style then you are a dirty fighter IMO. You might disagree although I personally cannot see you have a case.
You are right in saying that we havent seen a fight where he deserved to lose, but neither have we seen a fight where the referee calls him on the fouling. If he handles that well then we can talk.

People act like if he gets gift decision in Oakland.
I haven't seen one fight of Ward yet where I felt he lost or deserve to lose.

outside of oakland (preferably a foreign country) with biased refs?...no we haven't
Yeah, because Ward - one of the greatest amateurs of this era - can only look good at home.
