Cotto vs Berto or Cotto vs Margarito II

which fight would be more competitive and you rather see? I'd rather see Cotto fight Berto. Despite his title there, I don't see Cotto as really fitting in at 154. And it's about time Berto stepped his game up. Margarito rematch doesn't look as great after he got dusted by Pac.

id like to see cotto knock berto out first to build his confidence up and then hed be ready to send that cheater into retirement

I think both would be equally competitive for two different reasons. I think with Margarito, you have to take into account the beating he's taken not only in his losses to Pac and Mosley, but he took some heavy shots in the Cotto fight. I think Cotto physically may be in a better place than Margarito as it stands. Berto is young, yet inexperienced against the elites of the sport. He's shown vulnerabilities against crafty guys like Collazo, so dealing with guys like Cotto or potentially Pacquiao could make things very interesting. The question really on everyone's mind with Berto is, can he hang with the big dogs? I say Margarito. I've always stood by my opinion that Cotto would beat Berto. But Margarito is a dark cloud over Cotto's career than only a rematch can help remove. Beating a Margarito who looking this bad does nothing for Cotto losing to Margarito pretty much ends his career for good as far as being an elite fighter goes. Berto on the other hand is undefeated and looking good so if Cotto beats him it would bring him back in the P4P pictures and and will be his resurrection I'm almost sure Cotto is shot I want to see how he will do against a live opponent with speed and power.
