Pacquiao is in a no win situation against JMM, in the eyes of his detractors. He loses against JMM, he is overrated/been exposed. He beats JMM, same excuse people used after his victories against Barrera(fought an old warrior). You can say the same thing about PBF.

all roads lead to Manny Pacquiao. The MOST DESERVING should fight Pacquiao. I wouldn't mind Pacquiao ending the hypejob that is Andre Berto though. Or, I wouldn't mind seeing Pac fight a Bradley or Alexander. Bradley would be the toughest out of all 3 mentioned so far. I have no interest in Mosley, or Martinez. Martinez is all wrong for Pac. A big guy coming forward like Margarito is one thing. A guy like Martinez who's fast and moves and knows distance would end Pacquioa's career as we know it. I can't believe some of you would dare to say JMM beats Pacquiao now. I mean, look at JMM's past few fights. Juan Diaz and Michael Katsidis..... neither of these guys have the workrate, speed, or power in the same ballpark as Manny Pacquiao. And these guys gave JMM a world of problems. They're insufficiencies were that they are warriors, and eventually fade. Pacquiao does not. I love JMM, he did great against Pacquiao in the two fights, but Pacquiao is, and always will be a better fighter. What he did against Pac is the best he will ever do. Nowaday's, he'd get destroyed. Pac has gotten much better, and JMM has faded. The only reason Oscar is pushing this, is because of you morons out there who think you'll get a different result with the same means. Actually, lesser means, JMM is not what he used to be. He thinks it's a marketeable fight, and nonetheless it is. If Pac fights another Top Rank fighter, or Berto, or possibly Mosley....GBP gets that court-mandated (from the lawsuit) percentage from Pac....but $0 from Pac's opponent. If Pac fights Marquez, GBP get's a million or two more dollars. And that, my friends, is the only reason Oscar printed those silly t-shirts JMM was wearing. Let sleeping dogs lie. Here's something you've got to understand about boxing. "Most deserving" means a variety of things. What if the best fighter in history could draw 100,000 PPV buys to the table. The other choice is a guy who isn't as good but can draw 1 million buys. Who's more deserving? Image Floyd Mayweather Jr. fought Castillo a third time today, and that's what JMM-Pac 3 is anyway. Pacquiao will kill Marquez. It's meaningless. This would be a more valid statement if Manny wasn't marketed and praised by his fanatics as a warrior that takes on all comers. In a way, the Martinez talks wouldn't even be on the minds of boxing fans if Manny hadn't won a catchweight belt in the 154 lb division. To compare Floyd's two bouts with Castillo and Manny's two bouts with Marquez are comparing apples to oranges. If you can't see the differences, then I suggest rewatching all those fights.

people keep saying that pacquiao has improved so much and marquez has faded. pacquiao does look a lot better but its hard not to look good against opponents that might as well be a punching bag. i though marquez was fading after the mayweather fight and the second diaz fight. he really didnt look great in those fights, but i really think he looked good against katsidis. marquez has fought people that punch back in last handful of fight. if you knock a man down 4 times in 2 fights and get a draw and a split decision=you lost more rounds..meaning you got outboxed No, it means you worked your way back into a fight. Outboxed scores read as, 120-108, 118-110, 119-111. Fighters who outbox their opponent, don't hit the canvas 4 times in 24 rounds.

How does one get severely out boxed when they have to pick themselves up off the canvas 4 times? Wrong question. How do you only get a draw when you drop your opponent 4 times? Hmmm, you were out boxed and your opponent made up for the knock down deficit. Capeesh thats how.
