Is British boxing officialy better than U.S boxing?

USA population - 305,689,000 - 7 World Champions UK population - 60,000,000 - 4 World Champions 5x the population of the UK and only 3 more champs. I'm just sayin' I agree. 100% the yanks dont have a amauter system like they used to, they used to win everything at at the olympics and world championships, but guys like Carl Froch, Amir Khan, David Haye started winning them even big Audley Harrison, our worst, has one a Gold Medal, but he spent most of his carear in Big Bear, mastering the art of dont hit/back off

You need to compare the number of champions vis-a-vis the number of professional boxers, not the total population. That is true but there is other factors than just belts. Do we knock a fighter just because he doesn't have a strap? Obviously we don't or we shouldn't. Look at Chad Dawson and Paul Williams. For a long time they had belts but they lost to two really talented fighters, I certainly wouldn't call them bums. It doesn't matter though I think we all realize that this was a poor thread.
