JMM (prime) v Mayweather Jr @ 130 (Fantasy fight)

The reasons everyone is mentioning as to why Floyd dominates this fight at 130 are the exact reasons he would not dominate. - Floyd attacked more at 130 - Floyd threw combinations at 130 - Floyd was more aggressive at 130 All these factors play into JMM style. JMM couldn't do anything against Floyd because PBF was not aggressive and never opened up and was satisfied winning a decision against a smaller man. At 130 JMM would have many more opportunities to counter and make it into a fight. That being said, I still think Floyd pulls out a close decision, but it would be much more entertaining then the match up at 144 where Floyd came in at 148 and even heavier on fight night.

mayweather would never take this fight if they were both at 130. he only fought come forward mexicans while he was there. when mayweather was ranked 1 and casamayor 2 instead of fighting the undefeated casamayor he moved up to 135 to fight another come forward mexican named castillo. when casamayor followed him up to 135 and was ranked number 2 again floyd moved up to 140. you see the trend?

He was so much faster than JMM is, his D is 10x better, and he threw combos back then. That fight is such a mismatch. Floyd is the worst matchup in boxing for JMM because JMM is the best pure boxer in the game "behind" Floyd. He's also a righty and no righty is going to hit a prime Floyd clean, espically with his reflexes at that weight. Alot of guys are here are too young to remember what Floyd looked like back then and they dont watch enough film but he was special at that time. He even had great power at that weight and stopped nearly everyone. The bottom line is that there speed & athleticism at that weight is so far apart that its not even funny. Even at JMM best he still gets hit a ton & bruised up. Now imagine if that is Floyd he's in there against with his speed & accuracy? Its curtains

Um. Floyd at 130 is damn near as good as good gets. Offense, and defense, and incredible speed. Hell, he even threw combinations. At 130, he's a different beast. So NO Marquez is not beating him at any weight.
