He was only 14 seconds away from beating Carl Froch and also had him down and hurt early in the fight. Taylor was a good fighter.
I agree man, he also had one of toughest list of opponents on his resume, one after the other was a tough fight.
He never got over the loss to Pavlik though, he lost alot of confidence in that fight. Once you get KO'd hard, you're more likely to get KO'd like that again in future fights, unless you change up your style drastically (i.e. Amir Khan)
Taylor had serious stamina issues at SM, if he wasn't totally gassed in the Froch/AA fights, he would've finished them both standing.
Taylor was one of the nicest guys in boxing too, I will always respect him.
He gets knocked out by the worst fighter in the tournament right now and then fades into oblivion.
He was also beating who I guess you think is one of the best, Froch, until he himself let himself down.
what has happened to taylor? bout 6-7 months ago i heard he was back in training and ready to fight.....not heard anything since....is it safe to say he has retired?
