Pac dropped JMM in the 2nd fight with a left hook
Diaz wobbled JMM in the 1st fight with a left hook
Floyd dropped JMM with a left hook/left uppercut
Katsidis TKO'd Mitchell with a left hook (at least, it started w/ a left hook)
anybody see a trend?
It's definitely the punch he is most vulnerable too, Katsidis was raking him with the left all night, especially when he overextended his combinations and started throwing his own (very dangerous). Katsidis though was vulnerable straight up the middle and got tagged especially with the jab and right hand constantly.
Marquez is definitely a sucker for left hooks.
He's so open when he does a left hook/uppercut, his body twist to draw power and you counter him with a left hook.
That was a cracking left hook. If you use it as a counter when JMM attacks it will probably land especially early.
Latter on in fights he seems to get hit less with it.
told y'all, give me some green k :Dgoos sh1it--even though i didn't post otherwise--hell, i haven't even paid attention to this fight like that-lol--but i told you so on here is bittersweet--make sure you bathe in it good---let's see who gives you credit besides myself---
in a 12-round fight? JMM is not unhittable y'know.
i think JMM gets up from a knock down (like he usually does), shrugs it off and manages to win by decision.
6 round fight. I will be shocked if it goes past 9.
thing is..mitchell wasnt that good, he was way to young and inexperienced to be pit with someone like kats
while mitchell shouldn't even be in the same sentence as jmm...are you telling me that jmm won't get hit with a single solid left hook from katz...in a 12 round fight?
I think it's gonna be like the first Marquez-Diaz fight, except that Katsidis is more aggressive than Diaz. Marquez will be pressured a lot by Katsidis, but he should find a way to adapt and get the knockout in the later rounds.
This is true. It's also true that you shoot a fat man in the elbow and he would punch faster. No way does Katsidis land anything significant.
