Just in fairness, both Marquez and Pac are going to come inthe weight they are comfortable with, nobody is going to be at 160lbs+ , Pac will be at 148 and Marquez 144 at the fight night as usual?
So whats the issue for roach wanting at 147?
I find it intriguing because its the same people who complained about the catweight and are now wanting the catchweight?
Thats your problem with the pactards not mines. Didnt Mosley just fought not so long ago? about 6 months ago? Why is he considered now shot or past prime. Its either he is or he is not?
But anyways, I am just looking for an answer that people believe that Pac and Marquez is now at a different level at this time of their career. And thats all there is too it.
Mosley was still good when Floyd fought him at 147 because he was the #3 p4p fighter in the world, champ, and best WW at the time. Floyd destroyed him for 12 rounds and he had a draw against Mora. (I think he won the fight). Mosley is only good against guys that come forward like Margacheato. He's shot because he found out he can't pull the trigger anymore.
Manny is in his prime, became a better boxer, is fighting in his natural weight class, is in his prime right now, etc.
Marquez is already way past his prime, has slowed down, his face gets cut easily and bruises after every fight, loses speed and power when he fights over 135, etc.
Every big name boxer is in it for the money. Floyd, Manny, etc and even JMM, but JMM has no problem fighting the best in the sport. That's the difference between him and Floyd/Manny. JMM has no fear and he acts like a true p4p fighter by ducking no one.
JMM, Floyd, Manny, Cotto, etc are prize fighters now.
Answer my question... Why is it okay for Manny to fight a past prime 37 year old LW at 147, but Floyd can't do the same? You forgot how much **** Floyd got in 2009 for fighting JMM?QUOTE]

Owning? I made a valid question? Why sign the contract if you know your going to be at fully disadvantage that your not be able to win?
And your answer was you can not blame the guy for looking at a payday?
So he is in for the money, and he is the only one to be blamed for losing.

because those same people said that marquez was fat, slow and useless as a welterweight.
remember september of 2009?
Juan cant carry the weight like Pac can. He loses his reflexes and that is all he has as a counter puncher. He gets killed at 147 against Pac. They all know it.
Stop trolling? That's all you have to say after I owned you? :lol1:
Maybe because he's going to get paid millions for the fight. You would rather fight on HBO for 1 million or fight on PPV for millions? JMM made his biggest payday against Floyd and that's why he decided to fight Floyd. JMM is just looking for a payday right now because he's at the very end of his career.
How can you blame a guy at then end of his career looking for a payday?
Let's see...
Fight a mandatory for 1 million, or fight Poochiao on PPV for at least 5M?
Not a hard decision especially since JMM has been chasing Pac for years.

"Mayweather fought a a fat old man Marquez at welterweight"
Funny how the catchweight business is only available when its good for Manny. Roach knows what making a fighter lose weight does. He starves his opponents for a big advantage. Its ok to do it to other just not Manny.
Pacquiao is nothing but smoke and mirrors.
Yeah, ****ing funny. You can easily tell who is a Pactard and who is a boxing fan. These fools gave Floyd **** for fighting a younger JMM at 147, but now it's okay for Poochiao to fight an older JMM at 147?
Pactards answer my question... Why is it okay for Manny to fight a fat, bloated, 37 year old LW at 147, but it's not okay for Floyd to do the same thing? :lol1:
IMO, Marquez is an unfair fight at any weight at this point in their career. It's not about weight, it's just that Marquez doesn't belong in the ring with Manny anymore. Manny NEEDS to challenge himself and not take easy fights anymore. He is one of my favs all time, but I was upset with him vs Margo and I would be with him vs Marquez as well
Why even try to reason with these people?
Their fighter is going to prison so they focus all their attention on discrediting Pacquiao. Not real boxing fans.
Catchweight is a crime against humanity, unless it helps Marquez...what
Stop trolling already if you think you cant make the weight or at disadvantage tha your not going to win dont sign the contract?

Roach admitted he hates catchweight fights before.
It's okay for Poochiao to only fight in catchweight fights when the advantage in the catchweight fight is for him? It's okay for his team to weight drained his opponents, but it's not okay for his opponent to ask for a fair fight when he's already a smaller guy.

VERY SIMPLE...
JMM is old, shot, past prime, and we already know he's too slow, lacks power, etc. when he moves up over 135. Poochiao is in his prime and Poochiao can still make 135/140. Why make a smaller guy move up to 147 when you can easily make 140 without killing yourself?
Floyd got **** for making JMM move up to 147, but it's okay for Poochiao to make JMM move up two weight classes after he's way past his prime?
