Co-sign here,if this is indeed about Pacman, there is no defense for him not fighting dangerous fighters that are (not top rank)promoted!!Pacman fought Margarito for a title in a division where Martinez was ranked absolutely no less than # 2 in,this is a fact!!Cotto went to 154 & beat a champion who the greater fighter in Pacman said was too big!!Great fighters shouldn't get a pass, that lesser fighters don't,that $hit doesn't make sense!!"I'm so great I'll just go whoop up on a cheating stablemate right quick that 2 fights prior was beaten from pillar to post by Mosley, was caught cheating & beat a cabdriver in his return fight"!!If that's what great fighters do,I'll watch the not so great then!!
that was a one time thing like floyd at 154 like roy jones at HW. Did u really expect pac to stay at MW?? he ****in weighed 144 on a 150 catchweight he can't even reach 147. Wake the **** up.
If you and your coach believe that you cannot perform at your best at that wait no. Hatton could of technically fought as a HW on his off time if he wanted to.
If your lazy yes.
technically you can....If the boxing world is REALLY calling for the fight, its usually for good reason. its your obligation to the fans and as a champion to fight the best available.
generally it depends on the weight differential though, of course. but in this day and age simply moving up a weight class is far from a huge deal.
If the fighter can make the weight and wants the fight yes. Pacquiao is a 154 title holder, Martinez was a 154 fighter a few fights ago and can still make the weight.
You didn't vote, Blobby...

What you can do is fight a guy for his title but the guy can't come in at the supposed weight he has to come in drained lol
And then once you have the title you can't defend it at the weight the title is supposed to be defended at

I'm just curious. :wank:
I mean ppl always say B.Hop ducked Calzaghe back in 2002 or something like that when B.Hop was a MW and Joe was a SMW.....I remember who they was....I just hope they don't come in this thread and flip the script :cool2:
for the record....NO!!!...how can you duck a fighter thats NOT in ya division?!? :dunno:...it doesn't make sense imo
Yes. But not one two weight divisions above you, when you yourself are at the limit of your ability to climb divisions.
So no, Pac and Floyd are not ducking Sergio if they don't fight him, in any way.
I'm just curious. :wank:
Yes.
And if crackhead accuse you of using peds, you're automatically guilty.
You are also automatically a picker if you beat decisively any boxers with a higher weight than you.
You are also not a ppv draw despite earning millions and despite not even a household name.
YOU ARE ALSO NOTHING IF YOU HAVE NO TWEET OR FACEBOOK!
I'm just curious. :wank:
No.
If this is in reference to Martinez vs Pacquiao....it's about timing and right now Manny needs to face someone his own size. You can't fight big guys back to back as that wears on you mentally and physically. I use to box and I know this first hand.
This fight will happen though....just wait and see.
