pac is a WW not a "blown up LW"
and i hope floyd fights him. at 154 or 155. we know pac wont
Pac is not a WW.. At most he is a super lightweight. He rehydrates at ww but can make 137-138 easy.
Maravilla will devastate Pac lol. His own words and I said the same a few days back to some friends. I love it. He does respect Money and he should, I think it would be a fantastic fight, they both would be we know Roach clip won't pair him up with Pac til he starts to fade. Money might be lured into what Mara-haters would consider an easy win, and give him a golden opportunity.
I would like to see him fight both Pac and Money but Floyd is more likely to go down if he can keep his hands off women and put them on a heavy bag long enough to get a fight scheduled.
It's a catch-22 here. Can't beat up on a 164lb man and then claim Martinez is too big. You mean too good.
164lb on fight night, Marg was 150 at weigh in and spent most of his career at WW. Manny weighed 144 when the limit was 150 and you expect him to fight a guy who recently struggled to make 157
he has balls--i'll tell you that-lol--but he will never ko or even beat floyd--he needs to rethink his logic--that's for damn sure---manny i could see him ko'ing though--his style is perfect for a ko----floyd is too elusive and too methodical for sergio---
lols... flomos and their imaginations.
wifebeater always wins fantasy fights
He has, and much bigger men than himself. You guys are forgetting that Martinez himself is a small middleweight.
He isn't, he said he can't go below 155/156 and struggled to make the weight for the williams fight this time around
I'm not knocking Floyd this year because he took on the biggest threat in the division. It would be nice to see him fight again but if he is going to make crappy ones then he can stay home.
This is where I can see that the NSAC can do some implementations of programs and policies inorder to preserve the sport. I am for it.
Extreme commercialism is what is destroying this beautiful sport. I've been pissed off at boxing for a long while and want for it to go back to the it's golden years. From the 50s/60s/70s and 80s....
As for Mayweather, I can see him just wanting to cruise by and make money. I don't blame him and he will be criticized for it if that's his decision. It's either or, whether to claim that "I'm the greatest" and back it up or just box for money's sake (which what he has been doing).
Pacquiao is doing the same thing recently but who can blame him too?

Marquez...not at all. But your top three choices (in that order), is perfect. Cheers.

That's the thing, nobody is left for Pacquiao at 140 to 147...who else is there? In that light his fight with MOSLEY is obviously just a money thing, pure BS if you ask me.
But Pac only have about 3 years or 3 to 4 fights left. Here's my list for him:
•*Mayweather, if not Martinez
• Bradley/Alexander winner
• Berto
• Marquez to settle the argument (but really I don't think it is appealing)

I don't think they'll fight Bradley-Alexander and if they do, it better be at 140. Seriously. Berto would be different but honestly, Berto needs to beat someone. Anyone!

I can see Pacquiao fighting the winner of Bradley/Alexander....even Berto. And for old time's sake with Marquez before he retire. Those are viable alternatives if the Mayweather fight cannot go on.
As for Manny F'n with "crappy fighters", it's a job that he also does in the same light of Mayweather. I will not discount that, both of them should be called out for that.
But for pure pugilism piquant - it should be the MAYWEATHER-PACQUIAO FIGHT, no doubt about it.

Pacquiao can weigh 145 again and still be fine. But I'm not going to speculate on him fighting Martinez. They'll never do it. And I still hope Manny stops f*cking around with these crappy a** fights and just fights Floyd. Because if it isn't Floyd next, it better be Martinez or something.

I can see it but it is risky. I think that if Pacquiao chooses to go "light" on his weight (150 at most) to defend his 54' then he would have to KNOCK Martinez out early and that's a very tall order.
The skills are there...but sure he can beat up Martinez, the question is can he take Martinez's punches? Maybe not. Most likely not.
I can see Pacquiao peppering Martinez and even making his face swell up but when he gets hit, that would be fatal, I think.
This is not a count against Pacquiao for being small but if he is going all the way before he retires, then I would love for him to go and fight Martinez.
As for Mayweather, I am a fan of his IN THE RING (his techniques and skills) but not his OUT OF THE RING affairs. I still hope that he fights Pacquiao.

I don't think Mayweather is as troubled by his legal issues as people on these forums are. Not my concern, anyway.
