Marquez 3rd fight would sell 500 K more then Pacquiao Martinez fight. Maybe, but keep in mind that Sergio Martinez would be asking for A LOT LESS than what Marquez would ask for. Before Clottey was made, Marquez was approached, but he ended up asking for 50/50. Martinez on the other hand would only get a small fraction of what Marquez is asking for so it would make up for the lower ppv buys.

If they can sell Clottey and Margarito, they can sell a real opponent like Martinez. Last time I checked Martinez said that he aint even popular in Argentina. At least people know Margarito and he fought on PPV before.

Pac vs Martinez does over a million, and due to the signifigance and matchup...I can see it doing 1.5 million. Marquez and Berto are @ss and those fights make no sense. For me the only fights left are Mayweather and Martinez.

Clottey was practically unknown. He wasn't a draw yet Pac fought him. More and more i'm interested in seeing Pac fight Martinez. Since the guy has a lineal title, a win over him would add to his legacy.
