Pacquiao 'uncle' wanted for allegedly shooting neighbor dead

Manny Pacquiao is now a subject of a police manhunt after allegedly shooting dead his neighbor in Polomolok, South Cotabato over the weekend. Inspector Limuel Joseph Clarete, chief for operations of the Polomolok Municipal Police Station, said suspect Bernabito Dapidran allegedly shot dead Rogelio Poblador in front of his house in Barangay Sulit on Saturday night. Reports said Dapidran is a brother of the boxing icon's mother, Dionesia Pacquiao. Annie Poblador, the victim's wife, said her husband's killing stemmed from a simple argument about Dapidran's dogs. She said that their family was on their way home when Dapidran's dogs barked at them. She said her son threw a rock at the dogs. Mrs. Poblador said that Dapidran's son then picked up a rock and hit his son with it. She said that when her husband was about to retaliate, Dapidran fired at him. The Poblador family immediately reported the incident to the police, but Dapidran was able to immediately slip out of his home. -- Report from Anne Santos, ABS-CBN Soksargen
