we all know he got robbed that last two times they fought, do you think Pac knows he got the lucky end of the decision and doesnt want to risk it again? hence why he is refusing to give a rematch...

pac is scared that nobody will watch the fight because JMM is a 135 lbser and probably has no chance against him
Did you even watch the second fight? Pac won more rounds on top of the knockdown.
I've noticed a trend when people talk about the marquez fight.. They usually didn't even watch it or score it and just take max kellerman or mayweather or teddy atlas's word for it like it's truth.
I've scored the second fight so many times and even gave marquez the questionable rounds and I still have pac winning.
and pac was the one robbed on the first fight because of the scoring error by one of the judges.
Now that Marquez is getting past his prime, and Pacquiao is closer to his athletic peak than at featherweight, I think pac would just overpower marquez now.
Wow this is just pathetic. First of all I actually watched the fight LIVE. Even then I thought Marquez got robbed, and I was a Pacquiao fan at the time. Don't start with this "I notice a trend" if you watch the fight Marquez landed the cleaner shots, and won more rounds. How you can score it for Pacquiao is BEYOND me, or wait I forgot. Pactards will always go behind Manny.
Now that Marquez is getting past his prime? He was past his prime in the 2nd fight, he was 34 years old for god sakes. Ever since then he's won all his fights except the Mayweather fight at 147 which was basically a stunt to make Mayweather look good. How is Pacquiao closer to his athletic peak? He was in his prime years ago, when he demolished Barerra the first time, where he had a war with Marquez the first time, where he fought Julio, Morales the first time, Sanchez, that was peak Pacquiao. Ever since then he's been fighting guys coming off horrible loses or B-Ranked opponents. He fought Morales after an embarrassing lost to Raheem. He fought a beaten Barrerra coming off a loss to Marquez. He beat Solis and Diaz who weren't even ranked in the 20 P4P at the time.
Pacquiao has been given gimmie fights ever since the lost to Morales. The last competitive fight he had was with JMM and IMO and MANY MANY others Marquez obviously won the fight by at most 2 more rounds. Stop over hyping this guy. You're acting as if JMM is past his prime. He just knocked out a prime Juan Diaz and schooled him in the 2nd fight. Now he's fighting Katsidis who's actually on a damn winning streak.
Besides if you think Pacquiao won the first fight, you're tripping. Marquez was brought in to make Pacquiao look good because he was HBO's new guy. It was a draw.
At 147 this is a pointless fight, at 140 it's a different story.
Pacquiao is knocking around full fledged Welterweights and he himself is a small Welterweight with Welterweight power as it is. JMM doesn't belong anywhere passed 135. He looked sluggish as hell in the Mayweather fight and I see Pacquiao beating Marquez down early. Pacquiao's become much more polished since their last fight and he's gone on to fight more dangerous fighters and prevailed.
Pointless fight.

If not Mayweather the only person Pacquiao should be fighting is Berto. At least he's a change from the style match up Pac has been facing lately. Berto has fast hands. Something Pacquaio hasn't seen in a while now.
huh?
JMM is one of two boxers to have outboxed Pac.
OP, I dont think Pac is scared. TBH this fight interests me way more than a Mosley fight, even though Pac will most likely beat JMM. I just want him to fight a counter puncher. Pac vs counter puncher = exciting fight.
JMM can't beat Pac, skill is there, but his chin sucks
JMM is a slug over 135, this has been proven
Pac murders him now
this and Mosley fight both pointless
Marquez would've won both fights if it weren't for the knockdowns. plain and simple. but no matter how many times I watch the fights...as objectively as possible, the knockdowns do it every time. Pacquiao should've won the 1st fight, if by ever so slight a margin...(10-6 Rd. 1). And the second fight could've been a draw, but the knockdown made the difference.
A third fight would be brutally one-sided. Marquez is garbage at 144lbs...he simple doesn't belong there. Pacquiao can make the weight rather easily, Marquez will probably weigh in UNDER the 135 limit vs. Katisidis. (133.5 against Diaz).
JMM is a lifetime Featherweight, and is currently a 130lber fighting at 135.
Brutally one-sided fight. Pacquiao would hurt him badly and they'd be forced to stop the fight.
Marquez is still with Golden Boy, right? Manny wants to fight him at the right price. This is a harder fight to make, hence Mosley trying to negotiate with Arum without Golden Boy.
