Would this do it?
Mayweather - 147
Martinez - 160
Which would make his resume look like this...
Mayweather
Martinez
Barrera X2
Morales X2
Marquez
Cotto
De La Hoya
Margarito
Hatton
Clottey
Is that enough?
Just admit it. He needs to fight an African American who runs away. Too bad there's no Pernell Whitake, I'm sure that's what most think.
nah, at this point im thinking martinez, but someone like margarito doesnt cut it. margarito has no boxing skills, hes just a guy that feels no pain. all thats out there is Bradley, Winky Wright, marquez or katsidiz. or guaranteed losses against martinez or mayweather imo

invent a time machine or become president of the u.s.a.either works for me
he has to beat a fighter who is not just big, but is known to be skilled, and not weight drained

The competition now is a billions times better then when Sugar Ray Robinson was fighting
Exactly! SRR never fougth no Miguel Cotto or JMM....SRR fought a bunch of tough Italians
The competition nowadays won't make any modern boxer the GOAT.
Mayweather and Martinez are really all that's left, aside from Manny.
This is not true.... look at when Ali retired, they said there'd never be another Ali and that boxing was dying....then came along one of the best-regarded fighters of all time, Ray Leonard.
What does Pacquiao need to do to be considered the best? Announce he's half black.

I like Pac. But I don't think it's possible in this day and age. He should just consider himself lucky that he's possibly the greatest of the last 20 years or so.
