It has nothing too do with fighting a particular race of fighters. It's about styles. I know Bernard made some comments, but people should only take comments made by an ex-felon so far. I don't see African American fighters like Berto or Mosley beating Pac, but I would give Bradley a better chance. And it's certainly not because Bradley's more African American than the other two.
And I just had to add that maybe that's why Bradley isn't an option like the other two. :fu2:
There wouldn't be an over reaction if idiots wouldn't have made the ridiculous claim in the first place.
As if Hopkins is the Pope. His comments were wrong and I disagree with them, but you can find idiots saying s### all over the internet 24/7. People choose the things they want to over-react to and expose themselves over. Everytime some says something along those lines, you get a bunch of "Man, I secretly hate black people" threads for a while.
good threads get ignored on here.
anyway, Bradley doesn't have the aw factor to make a fight yet.
I too would love to see that fight but Berto is way more decorated at the weight than he is.
Berto is ranked 3rd and fighting him would unify the belts.
Mosley is in the mix on name alone. I'd much rather see Bradley as an option but Mosley is still ranked top 5.
Mosley and Berto and are more decorated welters, but Bradley has a better resume than Berto, even more so if he beats Alexander in January, and he'll be pretty close to prime at 27, as opposed to Mosley. That win should make him the undisputed champ at 140, and a lot more mainstream than Clottey was. Or Berto will be. But all three are the best choices he can make at welter, and are all far better than Marg, and are guys Pac should fighting. But years from now, a win over a 27 year old Bradley would look a lot better than wins over the other two.
It could be that there are those slick African American boxers out there. Why don't they call out Pacman's name? Who are they? Where are they? Slick boxers but chicken-hearted huh?
Find me evidence where Mosley, Berto, or Bradley said they didn't want to fight Pac. I'll wait.

i do believe that mayweather could. I am not so sure he would at this point, but he definitely could. That is, i believe in the possibility if he would get in the frigging ring!
yea floyd definitley has the best chance to do it but i doubt he beats pac..............
Not one black guy around pac's weight could beat him anyways.....

Exactly ive always said that. It's not about the race but style

Regardless of the style, they all have that jungle juice in em... That is what I took from what Bernard had to say about it.
