Tough fight to call. First one was close.
Williams was supposed to fight PAVLIK, a basic orthodox fighter, but was replaced by one of the slickest and fastest southpaws around in MARTINEZ with a few weeks to go.
Not the best situation to be in. Martinez came in late but Williams isnt a very complicated guy to fight.
I like williams in the rematch. Martinez was a +325 underdog for their first fight. Now Williams is a very slight underdog at -105 at most places.
Williams comes forward and throws more punches. Judges will probably favor him. The crowd may favor Martinez, who won the title in AC against Pavlik, but it will most likely just be a crowd of non-biased boxing fans.
Also, Williams was great in his rematch against Quintana, when he had time to properly prepare for a slick southpaw.
I probably won't bet it, cause its a close call, but i like Williams to win by decision.
I would slighty favor Williams. Martinez is going to be a year older and have to drop a little more weight then last time. All the while Willaims is going to be more active and more likely to win rounds, which will be very important in this fight. Both have already seen each other once, doubt much will change in this fight, style wise. Going to bet Willaims but not very much.
Why? Theres different kinds of bets you can make
Its justs immpossible to make money by betting for a straight win
yea but there really isnt a good bet for this fight.
If you wanna bet the OVER/UNDER, you'll get -210 for the Over 10.5 rounds. Both guys went down in the FIRST round of their first fight, and Williams was legit hurt... so the Under isnt likely, but at +170 its still not a great bet because these 2 guys wailed on eachother for 12 rounds last time and nobody was hurt badly after the first round.
Prop bets are hit and miss.
Idk, no bet feels safe for this one
I do believe this is a fight that is idiotic to put money on.

Oh man I really don't know which way to go with this. Sergio's weight may be a factor? I hope he retains the MW title, as I've said before the idea of Williams inheriting the lineal title on a catchweight just bothers me.
I hope it's a great fight anyway.
