i was one of the guys on here hoping Manny/Marg did well on PPV, for the sake of the sport.
But when it comes to Floyds PPVs, Pac fans seem to get a sour face if Floyds numbers are good. Numbers don't mean anything when it comes to Floyd, but they seem to mean everything when Manny does well.
The split should be 50/50 no matter what, even tho you can argue Floyds numbers are better as a whole.
But this whole (PPVs don't mean anything unless Pac does better) is standard BihcAzzness or haterizm at its best.
Manny is the more liked, Floyd is the draw (For reasons we all know, more people wanna see Floyd lose/knocked out).
Nevermind the numbers, it's a 50/50 split
If Floyd has doubts whether he can win, maybe he doesn't want to suffer a potential beatdown in front of a record ppv crowd. Everyone would be witnesses to his (potential) defeat. After all the smack he talks, where would he go from there? I really doubt this fight ever
gets made. As a Pac/boxing fan it sucks but at the same time it's nice to see manny and boxing do well on ppv. Boxing needs this and their are tons of exciting bouts that can be made if Floyd decides to make his vacation permanent. Manny might be becoming a
mini Tyson where people may just want to see him fight. Of course a good B fighter helps. We'll see if Pacs ppv draw continues in his next fight. Hopefully against PW, JMM, Martinez or Bradley. Can't wait!
yesir are you stupid? just saying......
who the f*ck cares. we want to see the numbers just for numbers sake. for floyd and his flomos to give the excuse of ppv buys when it comes down to making the negotiations happen.
OST was cannexed by the commission. he still said ok. pac doesn't need floyd but obviously floyd will be called a coward for the rest of his days not taking the fight. I personally could careless if he fights floyd.....i rather him say he retires and sticks his middle fingers upto floyd and all the flomos! but unfortunately he's not a douche bag like floyd and his followers to do such a thing.
I always want sellout PPV's for the sake of the sport.
Anyone who loves boxing should want high selling PPVs.
Pac/Marg was a good fight and it sold just like it should have, even without the Drama hype.
Pac/Floyd should see astronomical results, and hate it or love it Pac will be THE reason it sells, even though the reason SHOULD be the real blessing true students of the sweet science get to witness with the clashing of Pac's peak human speed and unorthodox style vs Floyd's grandmaster-of-chess like dominance in the ring.
double standards man, you know how they work. just like they want to give pac credit for beating marg when we knew what was going to happen. and better yet, they are giving pac credit for a mosley fight when they dont give floyd credit.
cant wait til they go away
Oh what has happened on hear since saturday has been comical.
Floyd fans complaining of double standards, what next.
The bottomline is Pac vs. Floyd will do the best PPV #'s in History... Someone please shine some sense to Floyd and tell him to take the damn fight..
Now you're talking !
beg? why would floyd have to beg when no matter who pac fights and beats, he cant get away from people wanting him to fight Mayweather.
pac can not retire without fighting floyd. FACT.
so floyd is in the drivers seat. haha. you lose
Well, with all the roadblocks Floyd and his fans have
been throwing in this fight, who needs this fight?
Floyd could take on other opponents. He doesn't have
to fight Pac if he doesn't want to. He could sell any
fight regardless of who the next man in the ring is, right?
Probably the worse subject you could ever start
as a thread if you are a true boxing fan.
But I can understand why Pac fans bring it up
as a retaliatory thing.
Pacman deserves the bigger pay if you ask me.
I wouldn't even bother to ask for the fight if I were
Pac. I'll wait for Floyd to beg for it.
If it doesn't happen, who cares?
Because it was a losing arguement and now they feel they have some better ground to argue back from.
Same shit different day everytime any side has the losing side fo a debate the second they think they have some ground to stand on they will throw it back in the other sides face. Not just this topic, not just here but in general that is how things work on online forums.
I'm not. I really don't give a ****. If it helps with negotiations, then great. i feel you man, but if you look at some of these past comments and threds you'll see pure contradictions concerning Manny/Floyd PPV talk... It's pretty obvious
